Shaun Hopkins (born 23 February 1985) is a Welsh rugby union player. A prop forward, he plays club rugby for the Welsh regional team the Scarlets having previously played for Llanelli RFC.
Philip Bennett was a Welsh rugby union player who played as a fly-half for Llanelli RFC and the Wales national team. He began his career in 1966, and a year later he had taken over from Barry John as Llanelli's first-choice fly-half. He made 414 appearances for the Scarlets over the course of a 15-year career he scored 131 tries, 43 drop goals, 293 pens and 523 convs. He made his Wales debut in 1969, but it was not until John's retirement from rugby in 1972 that Bennett became a regular starter for his country. He led Wales to the Five Nations Championship title, including the Grand Slam in 1978, which culminated with his retirement from Wales duty.
The Scarlets are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and in European Professional Club Rugby competitions. The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season.
Dwayne John Peel is a Welsh rugby union coach and former player. He was the most capped scrum-half for the Wales national rugby union team with 76 caps, until his record was surpassed by Mike Phillips on 16 March 2013.

The 2005–06 Celtic League was the fifth Celtic League season, and the third following the introduction of regional rugby in Wales. Eleven teams, from three countries participated. The final table was dominated by the Irish, with the top three spots taken by Ulster, Leinster and Munster respectively. The 2005–06 season was the first season for which the "free weekend" was awarded points for. Due to the odd number of teams participating, for every round of fixtures, one team has a so-called "free weekend". Each time this occurred, the team was awarded four points, so although at the end of the season it did not alter the positions, the table is skewed during the season according to the fixtures.
Samson Lee is a former Wales international rugby union player. Lee played for the Scarlets, as well as local teams Llanelli and Ammanford. His position is prop forward. Lee has represented Wales, making his debut against Argentina in November 2013.
Jake Ball is a professional rugby union player who plays as a lock. Ball played over 100 times for the Scarlets regional side in Wales and was capped 50 times for the Wales national rugby union team. In 2021, Ball retired from international rugby to join Green Rockets Tokatsu in Japan.
Rhys Patchell is a Wales international rugby union player. A fly-half, he plays for the Highlanders having previously played for the Scarlets and Cardiff Blues. Patchell represented Wales on 22 occasions between 2013 and 2023.
Judgement Day is an annual Welsh Rugby Union event that takes place at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and is part of the United Rugby Championship competition. The four regions – Cardiff Rugby, Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets – join with the Welsh Rugby Union in organising a double-header fixture at the Millennium Stadium. The annual derby day clash will be repeated for the foreseeable future with the two east Wales regions taking on the two west Wales regions. In 2020, the two matches were held on consecutive days at Rodney Parade due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing a change to the format of the 2019–20 season and the Millennium Stadium being unavailable due to it being used as the Dragon's Heart Hospital.
