Sheikh Hasina National Youth Center is a state owned national research institute that researches youth education and is located in Savar, Bangladesh. [1] [2]

Savar City in Dhaka Division, Bangladesh

Savar(Bengali: সাভার) is a city in central Bangladesh, located in Dhaka District in the division of Dhaka. It is the closest city from Dhaka. It is also a part of Greater Dhaka conurbation which forms the Dhaka megacity. History

Sheikh Hasina National Youth Center was established in 1998. In February 2017, the Cabinet of Bangladesh approved the Sheikh Hasina National Youth Development Centre Act-2017 to turn it into an institute. The centre would be governed by an executive council. [3] It is under the Department of Youth Development of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. [4]

2018 Bangladeshi general election 2018 Jatiya Sangsad election

General elections were held in Bangladesh on 30 December 2018 to elect members of the Jatiya Sangsad. The result was a landslide victory for the Awami League led by Sheikh Hasina. The elections were marred by violence and claims of vote rigging. Opposition leader Kamal Hossain rejected the results, calling it "farcical" and demanding fresh elections to be held under a neutral government. The Bangladesh Election Commission said it would investigate reported vote-rigging allegations from "across the country." The election saw the use of electronic voting machines for the first time.

Sheikh Hasina International Cricket Stadium or simply The Boat is a Bangladeshi sports stadium planned to be built in Purbachal, Dhaka, intended to serve as the headquarters of Bangladesh Cricket Board and the home of Dhaka Dynamites of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). It is intended to replace the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, which will serve as the home of the Dhaka Dynamites until 2018-2019 season. The total cost is estimated at 1100-crores, or approximately $140 million, as of March 2017. Upon completion, Sheikh Hasina International Stadium of the complex will become the second largest cricket stadium in term of capacity, and the most expensive cricket stadium in Asia.

Hasina: A Daughter's Tale is a 2018 Bangladeshi independent historical docudrama directed by Piplu Khan, based on the life of Sheikh Hasina, the tenth Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The film was jointly produced by the Centre for Research and Information and Applebox Films. It stars Sheikh Hasina as herself in the title role, and her younger sister Sheikh Rehana as herself.
