Simon III (born after 1330; died 30 August 1414) was a German nobleman of the House of Sponheim and the last ruling count from the Sponheim-Kreuznach line.

Its cadet branches ruled in the Imperial County of Ortenburg-Neuortenburg and various Sayn-Wittgenstein states until 1806.

Voters elected 169 members for the Storting, each for a four-year term. Voter turn-out in the 2009 general elections was 76.4%.
