Simon Thompson (born 10 December 1977, in Melbourne) is an athlete from Australia. He competes in triathlon.
Thompson trains with the Tridents Triathlon Club in Canberra and is coached by Ben Gathercole. [1]
Thompson competed at the second Olympic triathlon at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He placed tenth with a total time of 1:52:47.18.
Thompson, who was named as the reserve for the Australian Melbourne Commonwealth Games 2006 team, competed in the place of Greg Bennett. Bennett withdrew due to injury. Thompson placed 11th in this race. He controlled much of the race to assist his Australian teammates, Brad Kahlefeldt (1st) and Peter Robertson (3rd).
Other notable achievements include Triathlon World Cup victory at Mooloolaba 2005 and winning the Australian long course title 2005.

She also won Silver at the 2016 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. In April 2018, Hauschildt set a new Ironman brand record of 8:31:05, at the Ironman North American Championships, breaking the previous record of 8:33:56 set by Chrissie Wellington in 2011.
Kris Gemmell is a New Zealand triathlete, and 2002 World Aquathon Champion in Cancún, Mexico. He has also competed in the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games finishing 6th and 5th respectively.
Alistair Edward Brownlee MBE is an English triathlete. He is the only athlete to hold two Olympic titles in the individual triathlon event, winning gold medals in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. He is also a four-time World Champion in triathlon being Triathlon World Champion twice and World Team Champion twice, a four-time European Champion, and the 2014 Commonwealth champion. Brownlee is the only athlete, male or female, to have completed a grand slam of Olympic, World, continental and Commonwealth championships. Brownlee is also a one-time world champion in aquathlon. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest male Triathletes ever.

Annabel Luxford is an Australian triathlete. In International Triathlon Union (ITU) competition she is the 2005 ITU Triathlon World Cup series champion and the silver medalist at the 2005 ITU Triathlon World Championships. In 2004, she was the ITU under-23 World Champion and also finished second in the ITU Triathlon World Cup standings. In 2013, after changing to non-drafing long course racing, she finished third at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships.

With her guide Michellie Jones, Kelly won gold medals at the 2015 and 2017 ITU World Championships and 2016 Rio Paralympics. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
