Lord Christopher Daniel Cook (born 21 October 2003) is the current holder of the Cook Baronetcy and Visconde de Monserrate (Viscount of Monserrate), having inherited the titles from his father Sir Francis Cook in 2010. His mother was the former Joan Loraine Case.
He was educated at the King's School, Canterbury.

Trams in Bogotá were first inaugurated on December 24, 1884 with the first tramway pulled by mules, covering the route from Plaza de Bolívar to San Diego, in Bogotá, Colombia. In 1892, a tramline linking Plaza de Bolívar and Estación de la Sabana started operating. The original trams ran over wooden rails but since such tramways easily derailed, steel rails imported from England were later installed. In 1894, a tramcar ran on the Estación de la Sabana to Chapinero line every twenty minutes.

Doughty House is a large house on Richmond Hill in Richmond, London, England, built in the 18th century, with later additions. It has fine views down over the Thames, and both the house and gallery are Grade II listed buildings. This view from Richmond Hill is the only view in England protected by an Act of Parliament.

Floridita or El Floridita is a historic fish restaurant and cocktail bar in the older part of Havana, Cuba. It lies at the end of Calle Obispo, across Monserrate Street from the National Museum of Fine Arts of Havana. The establishment is famous for its daiquiris and for having been one of the favourite hangouts of Ernest Hemingway in Havana. The bar now boasts a life size bronze statue of Ernest Hemingway positioned in his favourite spot at the end of the bar. On a small plaque hanging in El Floridita, hangs Hemingway's signed quote: "My mojito in the Bodeguita del Medio and my daiquiri in the Floridita".

The Richmond Hill explosion took place on November 10, 2012, in the Richmond Hill subdivision in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The home of Monserrate Shirley was the center of the explosion that resulted in the deaths of next-door neighbors John "Dion" Longworth and his wife Jennifer, the injuries of seven others, and $4 million in property damage. Prosecutors alleged that the natural gas explosion was intentionally set to collect insurance money. Shirley, her boyfriend Mark Leonard, and three others were convicted and sentenced to prison on various charges, including felony murder for Leonard.

The 1925 Campeonato de Portugal Final was the final match of the 1924–25 Campeonato de Portugal, the 4th season of the Campeonato de Portugal, the Portuguese football knockout tournament, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The match was played on 28 June 1925 at the Campo de Monserrate in Viana do Castelo, and opposed Porto and Sporting CP. Porto defeated Sporting CP 2–1 to claim their second Campeonato de Portugal.
Portrait of Niccolò Vitelli is an oil on panel portrait painting by Luca Signorelli, created c. 1492–1496, now in the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. It forms a diptych with the same artist's Portrait of Vitellozzo Vitelli, which shows Niccolò's son. Its subject had died by the time of its production and so it was probably produced after medals of him.
The Fort of Monserrate is a military fortification located in Salvador, Bahia in Brazil. It is also known as the Small Fort of Our Lady of Monserrate. It was known as the Forte de São Felipe from the time of its construction until the 19th century. The Fort of Monserrate was built between the end of the 16th century and early 17th century on the Itapagipe Peninsula. It is "one of the few Brazilian fortifications to retain its original appearance from the late 16th century." The fort is located above the Church and Monastery of Our Lady of Monserrate, one of the oldest church structures in Brazil. The fort was listed as a historic structure by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) in 1938.
