The men's normal hill individual ski jumping competition for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, was held on 8 to 10 February 2018 at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Stadium. [1] [2]

Summary

The field included the 2014 champion and the 2017–18 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup leader Kamil Stoch, the 2014 silver medalist Peter Prevc, the 2016–17 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup overall winner Stefan Kraft, as well as the 2010 champion Simon Ammann. After the first jump, Stefan Hula Jr. was leading, with almost six points ahead of Stoch and Johann André Forfang shared second. In the second jump, both Hula and Stoch underperformed, and Andreas Wellinger, who was in the fifth position, became the Olympic champion after receiving 134.4 points for his jump, the highest scored jump of the competition. Forfang remained second, and Robert Johansson came from the tenth place to turn the bronze medalist.

In the victory ceremony, the medals were presented by Irena Szewińska, member of the International Olympic Committee, accompanied by Alfons Hoermann, FIS council member.

The men's individual large hill/10 km Nordic combined competition for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, was held on 20 February 2018 at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Centre and Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre on 20 February. The defending champion was Jørgen Graabak. The event was won by Johannes Rydzek. Fabian Rießle, the 2014 bronze medalist, won the silver medal. Eric Frenzel got bronze, completing the German sweep of the podium.

The men's individual normal hill/10 km Nordic combined competition for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, was held at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Centre and Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre on 14 February 2018.

The men's team large hill/4 × 5 km Nordic combined competition for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, was held on 22 February 2018 at the Alpensia Ski Jumping Centre and Alpensia Cross-Country Skiing Centre on 22 February.

The men's normal hill individual competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 5–6 February, at the Snow Ruyi hill in Zhangjiakou. The event was won by Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan became the Olympic champion. Manuel Fettner of Austria won the silver medal, and Dawid Kubacki of Poland the bronze medal. For Kobayashi and Fettner this was the first ever Olympic medal, and for Kubacki the first individual Olympic medal.

The men's large hill individual competition of the Beijing 2022 Olympics was held on 11 and 12 February, at the Snow Ruyi hill in Zhangjiakou. Marius Lindvik of Norway won the event, which became his first Olympic medal. Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan became the silver medalist, and Karl Geiger of Germany won the bronze medal, his first individual Olympic medal.
