Sloviansk is a city in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located in the north of the region, in the valley of the Kazennyi Torets River, a right tributary of the Donets. The city was known as Tor until 1784. Sloviansk had a population of 105,141, but during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the population had shrunk to around 24,000 by July 2022, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Slavyansky District is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Slavyansky Municipal District. It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 2,179 square kilometers (841 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Slavyansk-na-Kubani. Population: 65,711 (2010 Census); 66,129 (2002 Census); 59,266 (1989 Census).
