The Slovenia men's national field hockey team represent Slovenia in men's international field hockey competitions and is controlled by the Slovenian Hockey Federation, the governing body for field hockey in Slovenia. [2]
The team competes in the EuroHockey Championship IV, the fourth level of the men's European field hockey championships.
The Scotland women's national field hockey team represents Scotland in international women's field hockey competitions, with the exception of the Olympic Games when Scottish players are eligible to play for the Great Britain women's national field hockey team as selected. Scotland recently participated in the inaugural season of the FIH Hockey World League, but were knocked out in round 2, failing to qualify for the 2014 Hockey World Cup in The Hague, Netherlands. As of November 2015 they are seventeenth in the FIH outdoor world rankings.
The Argentina national field hockey team, represents Argentina in field hockey and is governed by the Argentine Hockey Confederation (CAH). The current coach is Mariano Ronconi, who was appointed after Germán Orozco was let go in 2020. The team is currently sixth in the FIH World Rankings.
The Belgian national men's field hockey team represents Belgium in international men's field hockey and is controlled by the Royal Belgian Hockey Association, the governing body for field hockey in Belgium.
The European Hockey Federation is a European sports federation for field hockey, based in Brussels. It is the umbrella organisation for all European national federations, and organises the Euro Hockey League. Marijke Fleuren was elected president on 22 August 2011. In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Hockey Federation banned the participation of all Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from all events sanctioned by the Federation.

The team mainly plays in the Women's EuroHockey Championship II, but qualified for the 2019 Women's EuroHockey Nations Championship by finishing second in the 2017 Women's EuroHockey Championship II.

The 2017 Men's EuroHockey Championship IV was the seventh edition of EuroHockey Championship IV, the fourth tier of the European field hockey championships organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held from 31 July until 5 August 2017 in Lipovci, Slovenia.
