Cape Breton University (CBU) is a public, co-ed, primarily undergraduate university located in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is the only post-secondary degree-granting institution within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and on Cape Breton Island. The university is enabled by the Cape Breton University Act passed by the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Prior to this, CBU was enabled by the University College of Cape Breton Act (amended). The University College of Cape Breton's Coat of Arms were registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority on May 27, 1995.

The University of Wales, Newport, was a university based in Newport, South Wales, prior to the merger that formed the University of South Wales in April 2013. St. Stephen's College is a college of the University of Delhi. It was established in 1881 by the Cambridge Mission to Delhi. The college admits both undergraduates and post-graduates and awards degrees in liberal arts and sciences under the purview of the University of Delhi. In 2017, the governing body of the college unilaterally initiated a move towards making it an autonomous institution. In 2018, the plan was put on hold after the University Grants Commission received legal advice against passing a favourable decision. The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) is a predominantly American, voluntary association that serves a number of functions with respect to national collegiate and post-graduate honor societies. ACHS coordinates member organizations, facilitates communications between them, and provides both scholarships and an outlet for publication to members. ACHS member societies undergo periodic audits to validate their adherence to ACHS standards and their qualification for membership and ACHS certification.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), is a women's university located in New Delhi, India on the heritage campus of Delhi College of Engineering at Kashmere Gate, Delhi. It was founded as the Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in 1998. In May 2013 it gained autonomy and became the first women's technical university in India established by Govt. of Delhi. Bryan Alexander is an American futurist, Georgetown University Senior Scholar, and one of the first experts to envision the peak in US higher education enrollment. He writes and speaks extensively about social networking, digital literacy, digital storytelling, mobile learning, and emerging technology in higher education and is the author of Academia Next: The Futures of Higher Education which received an award from the Association of Professional Futurists in 2020. He is currently one of nine members on APF's international board. This book written in 2018 and published in January 2020, included a pandemic scenario, presaging the Covid19 outbreak. Dr. Alexander continues to be a key contributor to the academic and popular culture conversation about higher education. His upcoming book is Universities on Fire: Higher Education in the Age of Climate Crisis.
