Gold Against the Soul is the second studio album by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers. It was released on 21 June 1993 by record label Columbia.
The Angels are an Australian rock band which formed in Taperoo, a small beachside suburb in Adelaide in 1974 as The Keystone Angels by John Brewster on rhythm guitar and vocals, his brother Rick Brewster on lead guitar and vocals, and Bernard "Doc" Neeson on lead vocals and guitar. They were later joined by Graham "Buzz" Bidstrup on drums and vocals, and Chris Bailey on bass guitar and vocals. In 1981 Bidstrup was replaced on drums by Brent Eccles. Their studio albums on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart top 10 are No Exit, Dark Room, Night Attack, Two Minute Warning, Howling and Beyond Salvation. Their top 20 singles are "No Secrets" (1980), "Into the Heat" (1981), "We Gotta Get out of This Place" (1987), "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again", "Let the Night Roll On" and "Dogs Are Talking".
Changes is the ninth studio album by the Monkees. The album was issued after Michael Nesmith's exit from the band, leaving only Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones to fulfill the recording contract they had signed in the mid-1960s. Changes was their last new album for Colgems Records and the group's last album of all new material until 1987's Pool It.

Smiler is Rod Stewart's fifth album, fifth solo album and final album for Mercury Records, released in 1974. It became the first album by Rod Stewart as a solo artist to become critically panned. Although it reached number 1 in the UK album chart, it stalled at number 13 in the US. The album was largely considered to be an unadventurous retread of what he had done before, including covers of Chuck Berry, Sam Cooke and Bob Dylan songs, as well as a duet with Elton John of John's song "Let Me Be Your Car". Stewart's one attempt at adventurousness was a cover of Carole King's "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" where 'Woman' is switched to 'Man'. This track was selected for special derision by critics. The release of the album itself was held up for five months due to legal problems between Mercury Records and Warner Bros. Records. This album sold 1 million copies worldwide.
People is officially Howard Jones's seventh album, released in 1998. After the US release on Ark 21 Records, People was a global release via Jones' own record label dtox. The album is a reworked version of the 1997 Japanese-only release Angels & Lovers. The title track and "When Lovers Confess" were deleted and three new tracks added: "Tomorrow Is Now", "Everything", and "Let the People Have Their Say". The album did not chart in the UK. However, the single "Let the People Have Their Say" broke the top 100 barrier in the UK and received ample air play on BBC Radio 2. The tri-fold slip case version features the faces of 210 people, all friends, family and fans of Jones.
Sugar Tax is the eighth album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released in 1991 on Virgin Records. It was the group's first studio album since 1986, and the first of three recorded without co-founder Paul Humphreys, who had departed in 1989. During the concert Paul Rodgers joined the band on stage to sing two songs, "I'm a Mover" and "The Hunter", from his former band Free's debut album Tons of Sobs with the group.

The initial run of the album is a limited-edition deluxe format with 24-page booklet and band sleeve notes, including an 11-track second disc containing previously unreleased studio, acoustic, demo and cover material.
412 Days of Rock 'n' Roll is a live album and DVD by Northern Irish rock band The Answer, released on 13 June 2011. The DVD features a documentary following the band's stint as a support act on AC/DC's Black Ice World Tour. According to lead singer Cormac Neeson, the band played 118 shows with AC/DC and "as many of our own headline shows and radio sessions as we could squeeze into the schedule." The DVD also includes an approximately 60 minute-long live set, which also features on the CD, and all of the band's nine promo videos. In addition to the live set, the CD features a cover of Rose Tattoo's "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw" and a previously unreleased demo track.
New Horizon is the fourth studio album by Northern Ireland rock band The Answer. The album, which was released on 30 September 2013, was produced by Little Angels frontman Toby Jepson and features artwork from the legendary designer Storm Thorgerson, who was working on the cover shortly before his death in April 2013. New Horizon is the band's first album with Napalm Records, with whom they signed the previous year.
