Sonar Music was founded in 2010 by award winning composers Antony Partos, Andrew Lancaster, Matteo Zingales, David McCormack, Michael Lira, Jono Ma and music producer Wes Chew. It is a music production house that provides original music composition and arrangements to all forms of media including Feature Films, Commercials, TV Series, Documentaries, Installations and Interactive media.

Sonar Music is situated at Fox Studios Australia. Its current board of directors are Antony Partos, Andrew Lancaster, Matteo Zingales, Jono Ma and David McCormack.

Glenn Thompson is an Australian musician who first came to prominence in Brisbane, Queensland, playing in the popular local bands Madam Bones Brothel with Pearly Black and John Rodgers, and COW with Robert Moore and David McCormack. Thompson played drums with Robert Forster of The Go-Betweens on his second solo album Calling from a Country Phone in 1993. He then toured Europe in 1994 with Forster and members of German band Baby You Know, Robert Pöschl and Michael Schott. For Robert Forster's world tour of 1996, Thompson was joined by Adele Pickvance on bass. Thompson and Pickvance were called Warm Nights after Forster's fourth solo release which was also titled Warm Nights.

Jack Irish is an Australian television drama series first broadcast on ABC TV on 14 October 2012. The series stars Guy Pearce as the title character, a former criminal lawyer turned private investigator and debt collector. Much of the action is set in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy. Adapted from the crime fiction novels by author Peter Temple, the telemovies and series Jack Irish were developed by Andrew Anastasios, Matt Cameron and Andrew Knight. They began as three feature-length movies, before being adapted into three six-episode series, the final one airing from June 2021.

99 Homes is a 2014 American drama film directed by Ramin Bahrani, written by Bahrani and Amir Naderi, and starring Andrew Garfield, Michael Shannon, Tim Guinee, and Laura Dern. Set in Florida, during the Great Recession, the film follows single father Dennis Nash (Garfield) and his family as they are evicted from their home by businessman Rick Carver (Shannon), leading to Nash choosing to help Carver in evicting people out of their homes in exchange for his family's home. Come Back, All is Forgiven is the sixth album by Australian band Custard, and their first new material in 16 years. It was released on 6 November 2015 through ABC Music on CD, vinyl, and digital. The album features the classic line-up of David McCormack, Glenn Thompson, Paul Medew and Matthew Strong. The songs were tracked at Horses Of Australia Studio on a weekend in February 2015. Overdubs were later added by David at Sonar Studio and Glenn at Horses Of Australia Studio. Glenn mixed it over the following couple of months.

Antony Michael Partos is an Australian film and TV composer. He specialises in creating scores that blend both acoustic and electronic elements with a mix of world musical instruments. His feature film credits include Animal KingdomThe Rover, Disgrace, The Home Song Stories and Unfinished Sky.

The Common Touch is the seventh studio album by Australian alternative rock band Custard, released on 6 October 2017 by ABC Music. It was supported by the singles "In the Grand Scheme of Things " and "2000 Woman".

The Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC) is a not for profit organisation, which was established in 1981, "to represent the interests of Australian screen composers by developing and promoting employment opportunities, undertaking educational initiatives and increasing their profile amongst the industry." It was established by Bruce Smeaton and Bruce Rowland. The Guild's head offices are in Sydney, with successive presidents from 1987 being Bob Young (1987–91), Martin Armiger (1992–98), Chris Neal (1999–2000), Art Phillips (2001–08), Clive Harrison (2008–11), Guy Gross (2012–17), Caitlin Yeo (2018–20), Antony Partos (2020–22) and Dale Cornelius (2022–present). Since 1991 it has been sponsored by the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA).

The Rover (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack to the 2014 film The Rover directed by David Michôd. The album consisted of cues from the musical score is composed by Australian film and television composer Antony Partos and selections from Sam Petty, Colin Stetson, Matthias Loibner, William Basinski and Tortoise which were mostly compilations of alternative rock, indie pop and electronic. The soundtrack was released through Lakeshore Records on 10 October 2014, four months after the film's release.
