MKS Sparta Złotów is the sports club of the Polish town Złotów, since 1928. The club provides seven sections:

Złotów Place in Greater Poland, Poland

Złotów is a town in northwestern Poland, with a population of 18,303 inhabitants (2011). Today it is part of Greater Poland Voivodeship (province), previously being in Piła Voivodeship (1975–1998). Since 1999 Złotów has been the seat of Złotów County.

The Ekstraliga is the top level women's football league in Poland.

Volleyball is a popular team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964.

Sparta, in past years, was a famous club with a very good ice hockey team. The most famous sportsmen, Paulina Maj, Wanda Wiecha (volleyball), Jakub Wawrzyniak (soccer), were national teams players.

The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, with teams usually consisting of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.

Fofão female volleyball player from Brazil

Hélia Rogério de Souza, nicknamed Fofão, is a retired Brazilian female volleyball player who competed for her country's national team in five consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992. She won a gold medal in 2008 and twice won a bronze medal, in 1996 and 2000. She also claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games.

Bethania de la Cruz de Peña is a female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won the gold medal with the Dominican women's national team at the 2009 NORCECA Championship and the 2010 Pan-American Cup.

Sidarka de los Milagros Núñez is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played for the Women's National Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. There her team ended up in fifth place. She claimed the gold medal at the 2008 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup in Mexico, where she was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Brenda Castillo is a female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic and plays as a libero. She was a member of the Dominican Republic national team that won fifth place in the 2012 Summer Olympics, while she was named the tournament's Best Libero. She played in the 2014 World Championship reaching also the fifth place and ranking 17th in the 2010 World Championship and the 2011 FIVB World Cup where her national team ranked eight and the 2015 FIVB World Cup, winning the Best Libero individual award and ranking in seventh place.

Bartosz Kurek Polish volleyball player

Bartosz Kamil Kurek is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team and Polish club ONICO Warszawa. He was a participant at the Olympic Games, and he is a 2018 World Champion, 2009 European Champion, a gold medalist of the 2012 World League, silver medalist of the 2011 World Cup, bronze medalist of the 2011 World League, 2011 European Championship and 2015 World Cup, three-time Polish Champion and Italian Champion (2014). In 2019, he became the first volleyball player to be voted the Polish Sports Personality of the Year.

Radosław Panas, Polish volleyball player (195 cm), one of the most experienced players in Polish Volleyball League. He played the position of the receiver, in a career last season (2004/05) as a libero.

Żyleta

Żyleta is a common name of a northern stand in the Polish Army Stadium in Warsaw, Poland, traditionally occupied by the most spontaneous and fanatical fans of Legia Warsaw football club. Before the stadium renovation (2008–2011), the “old” Żyleta referred only to the center section within the eastern stand of the stadium. There is a special exhibition dedicated to the "old" Żyleta in the Legia club museum. Today, after the stadium renovation, the “new” Żyleta means the whole northern stand of stadium.

Zbigniew Andrzej Bartman is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team in 2008–2013 and Argentine club UPCN Vóley Club, a participant at the 2012 Olympic Games, 2009 European Champion, a gold medalist at the 2012 World League, silver medalist of the 2011 World Cup, a bronze medalist of the 2011 World League, Polish Champion (2013), Argentine Champion (2018).

Gamze Alikaya Turkish volleyball player

Gamze Alikaya is a Turkish women's volleyball player. She is 179 cm (5.87 ft) tall at 68 kg (150 lb) and plays in the setter position. She played for Galatasaray S.K. before she transferred to Eczacıbaşı VitrA for the 2018–19 season. She is a member of the Turkey women's national volleyball team.
