St. Patrick's High School ("St. Pat's") is an English language high school in Quebec City and a part of the Central Quebec School Board (CQSB).
St. Patrick's was established in 1843 on Rue Ste. Helene, on what is now McMahon Street opposite St. Patrick's Church. It was run by the Christian Brothers for boys grades one through six. [1] In 1846 it joined Commission des écoles catholiques de Québec, a Roman Catholic school district. [2] St. Patrick served as one of its Anglophone high schools, and by 1997 was its only one. [3] It served the Irish Canadian population of Quebec City. [2] In 1998 the religious school boards were dissolved and replaced with secular ones, so St. Patrick's became a part of the CQSB.

The town is noted for its green look, due to the high density of trees. Some wooded areas in the town have been left intact as the town has grown around them. Homes are mostly upscale, varying from renovated cottages to unique character homes. It is almost entirely residential, with no significant industries. Boulevard Curé-Labelle, the town's main commercial artery, is lined up by suburban shops and shopping malls, the largest of which is Place Rosemère.

The Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal was a Protestant and predominantly English-language school district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada which was founded in 1951 as a replacement for the Montreal Protestant Central Board, and ceased operations in 1998, with most of its assets transferred to the new English Montreal School Board. Quebec's Protestant school boards served all non Catholics, so that the city's Jewish students generally attended schools operated by the PSBGM.
The Montreal Catholic School Commission was a Roman Catholic school district in Montreal, Quebec, Canada which operated both French-language and English-language schools. It was the largest school board in Quebec, and was created on June 9, 1846, at the same time as a Protestant school commission, which became the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. When Quebec's religious "confessional" school boards were replaced by linguistic ones in 1998, the French-language schools and the board's headquarters were turned over to the Commission scolaire de Montréal and its English-language schools to the English Montreal School Board. In 1847, the board had 377 pupils. By 1917, this number increased to 75,000 students. The first kindergarten was established in 1914. An alliance of Catholic teachers was founded in 1919. Primary education is established during the 1920s. During the 1930s, the MCSC began to distribute milk to students and the first school for the disabled opened.
St. Patrick's Church is the only English-speaking parish in the Archdiocese of Quebec, located in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Founded in 1832, the parish has occupied several different buildings as the population of English-speaking Catholics, primarily Irish, in Quebec City grew or declined.
École secondaire Marie-Anne is a francophone public secondary mixed school located in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough in Montreal.
