Stephanie Antosca is a veteran television producer known for her work on the White House–based drama, The West Wing , and the reality series, I Survived . She was given the Women of Vision Award from Women in Film & Video - DC in 2005.

<i>The West Wing</i> 1999–2006 American television serial drama

The West Wing is an American serial political drama television series created by Aaron Sorkin that was originally broadcast on NBC from September 22, 1999, to May 14, 2006. The series is set primarily in the West Wing of the White House, where the Oval Office and offices of presidential senior staff are located, during the fictitious Democratic administration of Josiah Bartlet.

I Survived... is a documentary television series produced by NHNZ that airs on Lifetime Movie Network. The series premiered on March 24, 2008 and in the past has aired new episodes Sunday nights. The show currently airs on Friday evenings at 8 PM Eastern Time followed by its sister series I Survived... and Back. The show allows survivors to explain – in their own words – how they overcame life-threatening circumstances without dramatic reenactments. Most episodes feature three separate stories involving kidnapping or getting stranded in a remote location; however, some only feature two.

Women in Film & Video Women of Vision Award is an annual award by the Women in Film and Television International District of Columbia.

Life

Antosca graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1989. She moved to Washington, D.C., in 1991 when her mother made her pick and state and get out. Antosca says it was the greatest gift her mother ever gave her.
