Strangers / Lovers is the debut studio album by Norwegian singer Dagny, released on 2 October 2020. [9]

Release

The album was divided into two halves. On 14 May 2020, Dagny announced that the first half, dubbed Side A, which included the first six tracks off the official album, would be released on 22 May 2020. [10] The rest of the album was later released on 2 October 2020, along with Side A.

Critical reception

In a positive review for The Line of Best Fit , Dan Cromb called Dagny "a true force to be reckoned with" thanks to Strangers / Lovers. Additionally, he praised the album sonically, calling it "powerful, punchy, effervescent pop music at its finest." [11]

"Strangers" is a song performed by Norwegian singer and songwriter Sigrid. The song was released as a digital download on 10 November 2017 by Island Records. The song peaked at number six on the Norwegian Singles Chart. Outside Norway, the single topped the charts in Scotland and Croatia and peaked within the top ten of the charts in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. The song is included on the singer's debut album, Sucker Punch, serving as the second single from the project.

High Expectations is the debut studio album by English singer Mabel. It was released on 2 August 2019 by Polydor UK. Originally scheduled for release on 15 July, the album was pushed back to 2 August to alter several songs.
