The Sun Valley Opera House was built in 1937 in Sun Valley, Idaho, as a movie theater. The picturesque Opera House has a 344-seat capacity and a state-of-the-art sound system (installed in 1999). It is the site for special events and as well as nightly showing of first-run movies. It is located in the Sun Valley Village, near the Sun Valley Lodge and Sun Valley Inn.
Sun Valley is a resort city in Blaine County, Idaho, United States. The resort is adjacent to the city of Ketchum and within the greater Wood River valley. The population was 1,406 at the 2010 census, down from 1,427 in 2000. The elevation of Sun Valley is 5,920 feet (1,805 m) above sea level. Scheduled passenger airline service is available via the Friedman Memorial Airport located in nearby Hailey, approximately 15 miles (25 km) south. Visitors to Sun Valley are relatively close to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, accessed over Galena Summit on State Highway 75, the Sawtooth Scenic Byway.
Idaho is a state in the northwestern region of the United States. Sun Valley Serenade is a 1941 musical film directed by H. Bruce Humberstone and starring Sonja Henie, John Payne, Glenn Miller, Milton Berle, and Lynn Bari. It features the Glenn Miller Orchestra as well as dancing by the Nicholas Brothers and Dorothy Dandridge, performing "Chattanooga Choo Choo", which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song, was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1996, and was awarded the first Gold Record for sales of 1.2 million.

Hailey is a city in and the county seat of Blaine County, in the Wood River Valley of the central part of the U.S. state of Idaho. The population was 7,960 at the 2010 census, up from 6,200 in 2000. Hailey is the site of Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), the airport for the resort area of Sun Valley/Ketchum, 12 miles (19 km) north. The town of Bellevue is a few miles south. From 1882 to 1895, Hailey was the county seat of now-defunct Alturas County.

The Yakima Valley SunDome is a 6,195 seat multi-purpose arena in Yakima, Washington, USA. It was built in 1990, on the Central Washington State Fairgrounds, by Gilbert H. Moen Co. and Loofburrow & Associates (Architect). The SunDome was designed to host sporting events, i.e. basketball, soccer, volleyball, ice shows, horse shows, circuses, boxing and concerts, as well as agricultural expos, trade shows, symposiums, conventions, and much more.
The Wood River Valley is a region in south-central Idaho located in Blaine County. It is named after the Big Wood River, which, like the Little Wood River, flows through the area.
Central Idaho is a geographical term for the region located northeast of Boise and southeast of Lewiston in the U.S. state of Idaho. It is dominated by federal lands administered by the United States Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. Idaho's tallest mountain, Borah Peak, is located in this region. A large part of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area is within Central Idaho.

Ketchum Sun Valley Historical Society Heritage & Ski Museum is the official museum of Ketchum Sun Valley located in Ketchum, Idaho. Founded in 1995, it has collections in skiing, mining Sun Valley, sheep, and Hemingway. Additionally, it contains an archive of documents and Historical photographs.

Rich Valley is a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada within Lac Ste. Anne County. It is located on Highway 33, approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Edmonton.
Sun Valley Center for the Arts is the oldest arts organization in central Idaho’s Wood River Valley. Founded in 1971, the center has grown from a few people presenting classes and events to an organization that has over 25,000 people attend events annually. More than half of those who attended, attended free programs.
Amargosa Opera House and Hotel is a historic building and cultural center located in Death Valley Junction, in eastern Inyo County, California near Death Valley National Park. Resident artist Marta Becket staged dance and mime shows there from the late 1960s until her final show in February 2012. The Death Valley Junction Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned by the nonprofit established by Becket for the preservation of the property.
