Twenty20 Form of limited overs cricket, 20-over format

Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level.

The Canterbury Magicians is the women's representative cricket team for the New Zealand region of Canterbury. They play their home games at Hagley Oval, Christchurch. They are the most successful side in the history of the Hallyburton Johnstone Shield, with 39 wins, and are the current champions of both competitions.

The 2020–21 Dream11 Super Smash was the fourteenth season of the women's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket competition played in New Zealand. It ran from December 2020 to February 2021, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Canterbury Magicians beat Wellington Blaze in the final to win the tournament, their 5th Super Smash title.

The 2019–20 Dream11 Super Smash was the thirteenth season of the women's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket competition played in New Zealand. It ran from December 2019 to January 2020, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Wellington Blaze beat Auckland Hearts in the final to win the tournament, their 6th Super Smash title, and third in three seasons.

The 2018–19 Burger King Super Smash was the twelfth season of the women's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket competition played in New Zealand. It ran from October 2018 to January 2019, with 6 provincial teams taking part. Wellington Blaze beat Canterbury Magicians in the final to win the tournament, their 5th Super Smash title, and second in two seasons.

The 2021–22 Dream11 Super Smash is scheduled to be the seventeenth season of the Men's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket tournament played in New Zealand. In July 2021, New Zealand Cricket named all the squads for the domestic teams ahead of the 2021–22 season, and confirmed that the matches would mainly be played at the weekend. The Wellington Firebirds are the defending champions.

The 2021–22 Dream11 Super Smash is scheduled to be the fifteenth season of the women's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket competition played in New Zealand. The schedule has not yet been revealed. The Canterbury Magicians are the defending champions.
