Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel is an EP by British extreme metal band Carcass. The EP consists of songs recorded during the sessions for previous album Surgical Steel and was released on 11 November 2014 through Nuclear Blast. [1]
The band announced Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel with an entry on their official Facebook web presence on 15 September 2014. [7] The song "Livestock Marketplace" was presented to the public as video clip shortly before the EP came out. [8] The EP was released on 11 November 2014 in North America, 14 November in Europe and 17 November in the United Kingdom. [1] Nuclear Blast issued Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel in different physical formats and as digital version. The CD edition came as regular jewelcase and digipak while the 10" vinyl was made available in different colours. [9]
Carcass went on North American tour titled "Inked in Steel" in October and November 2014 to promote Surgical Remission/Surplus Steel. [10] They were accompanied by supporting bands Obituary, Macabre, Exhumed and Noisem. [11]

Swansong is the fifth studio album by English extreme metal band Carcass. It was released on 10 June 1996 in the UK by Earache Records. It is the only Carcass album to feature guitarist Carlo Regadas. This album was intended to be their major label debut, having been signed by Columbia Records following the success of Heartwork, but disputes with that record company caused them to return to Earache. The album was re-released on 21 July 2008, as a dualdisc including the fifth part of The Pathologist's Report. It was the band's last studio release for over 17 years, until the release of Surgical Steel in 2013, and the last to feature founding drummer Ken Owen.

The album was released in the UK by Earache Records on 18 October 1993, and in the United States on 11 January 1994 by Columbia Records, making it the band's only major label release. Heartwork has been described as the band's "breakthrough" and "mid-period masterpiece", as well as a landmark album in melodic death metal. Surgical Steel is the sixth full-length album by British extreme metal band Carcass. The album was released on 13 September 2013 in Europe, 16 September in the UK, and 17 September in North America, via Nuclear Blast. Surgical Steel is Carcass' first studio album since Swansong (1996), and their first to feature Dan Wilding as the replacement of original drummer Ken Owen, although the latter does provide backing vocals on the album. This was also the band's first album since Symphonies of Sickness (1989) to be recorded as a three-piece, and their first one to reach the Top 50 in UK album charts.

Grave Robber is an American horror punk band from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The band started rehearsing in 2005. In 2006, Grave Robber released, a vinyl EP, Love Hurts independently. Their first two studio albums, Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, were released by Retroactive Records, correspondingly in 2008 and 2009. The subsequent three studio albums, Exhumed, You're All Gonna Die!, and Escaping The Grave were released by Rottweiler Records, correspondingly in 2010, 2011, and 2018. An EP, Straight To Hell was released in 2014. Rottweiler Records has acquired the rights to Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, with plans to re-release in 2023.
Torn Arteries is the seventh studio album by English extreme metal band Carcass. It was released on 17 September 2021. Named after a demo tape recorded by former Carcass drummer Ken Owen during his teenage years, this is the band's first album in eight years after its predecessor Surgical Steel (2013). It also marked the first time since 1993's Heartwork that Carcass had recorded more than one album with the same lineup – with bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker, guitarist Bill Steer and drummer Daniel Wilding, and the first to not feature Owen in any capacity. Torn Arteries was initially scheduled to be released on August 7, 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused the album to be delayed for over a year.
