Susie Laska (born November 1, 1979, in Cobden, Ontario) is an ice hockey player formerly with the now-defunct Ottawa Senators of the CWHL.
Laska played her university hockey with the University of Toronto Blues from 1998 to 2003. She won a CIS championship in 2001 and served as the team captain in 2002-03. She joined the Ottawa Raiders in 2003-04 and now serves as the team captain. She helped the Ottawa Raiders win an NWHL East Division title in 2005-06.
At the international level, Laska represented Canada's U-22 hockey team in 2000-01.

The National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) was a women's ice hockey league established in Canada in service from 1999 to 2007. In its final season the league was run by the Ontario Women's Hockey Association.
Julie Wu Chu is an American-Canadian former Olympic ice hockey player who played forward on the United States women's ice hockey team and defense with Les Canadiennes of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). She won the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2007 for best female collegiate hockey player while at Harvard University. She finished her collegiate career as the all-time assists leader and points scorer in NCAA history with 284 points, until the record was broken in 2011. She is tied as the second-most decorated US woman in Olympic Winter Games history. She was selected by fellow Team USA members to be the flag bearer at the Closing Ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Caroline Ouellette OC is a Canadian retired ice hockey player and current associate head coach of the Concordia Stingers women's ice hockey program. She was a member of the Canadian national women's ice hockey team and a member of Canadiennes de Montreal in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. Among her many accomplishments are four Olympic gold medals, 12 IIHF Women's World Championship medals, 12 Four Nations Cup medals and four Clarkson Cup championships.

The Canadian Women's Hockey League was a women's ice hockey league. Established in 2007 as a Canadian women's senior league in the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, and Ottawa, the league eventually expanded into Alberta, as well as teams in China and the United States throughout its tenure. The league discontinued operations May 1, 2019, after 12 seasons of operations. For most of its existence, it was the highest level women's hockey league in North America while registered as an amateur association. The National Women's Hockey League was launched as a rival organization, while also paying its players, but with both leagues competing for the same talent. The CWHL began paying its players a stipend during its last two seasons before it folded.
The Ottawa Lady Senators is a women's ice hockey organization, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The organization organizes teams in several age divisions, including Intermediate in the Premier Women's Hockey League (PWHL). The women's senior-level ice hockey team formerly played in the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), until 2010. The senior team was formerly known as the Ottawa Capital Canucks and the Ottawa Raiders.

The Calgary Inferno was a women's ice hockey team that joined the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) for the 2011–12 season. The team played its home games at Joan Snyder Rink at WinSport Canada in Calgary, Alberta. After two seasons without an official name, in 2013 the team picked a moniker drawing from Calgary's National Hockey League franchise, the Calgary Flames, with whom they had a partnership. For the 2013-14 season, it was announced that all Inferno home-games would be streamed live by PCSN.tv.
Jillian Pauline Saulnier grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She was the first female ice hockey player to represent Nova Scotia at the IIHF Women’s World Championship in 2015. She is a two-time Olympian for Team Canada, winning a gold medal in 2022 and a silver medal in 2018. She is a member of Hockey Canada's National Women's Team, which won Gold in 2021 and plays in the PWPHL in Montreal. She did play in CWHL's Les Canadiennes de Montréal before the organization folded in the Spring of 2019. Jill was also a part of Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team which won gold at the 2010 IIHF World Women's Under-18 Championship in Chicago. As a member of the gold-winning squads and accomplishments throughout her career, Jill made history again in 2021 when Tim Horton's annual Trading Hockey Card collection included 15 women (stars) from Canada's national women's team. She also was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series. In addition, she participated in the Canada Celebrates Event on June 30 in Edmonton, Alberta which recognized the Canadian Olympic and World hockey champions from the 2009–10 season. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.
Jessica Campbell is a Canadian women's ice hockey coach for the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League. She was formerly a player for the Malmö Redhawks of the Damettan. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.
Emerance Maschmeyer is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender for the Ottawa PWHL team. She is a member of Canada women's national ice hockey team, with whom she won the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship and the 2022 Winter Olympics gold medal. She first made her debut with Team Canada at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.
Delayne Brian is a Canadian women's ice hockey player with the Calgary Inferno of the CWHL. Brian helped the Inferno capture the 2016 Clarkson Cup championship, where she was recognized as Playoff MVP.
Chelsea Purcell is a former women's ice hockey player. Among her career accomplishments, she was the first captain in the history of the CWHL's Team Alberta franchise. In addition, she was the captain of the Canada women's national ball hockey team that won a gold medal at the 2015 ISBHF World Championships in Zug, Switzerland.
Rebecca Leslie is a Canadian ice hockey forward, currently a member of the PWHPA.
