Sweet Kiss is a Japanese pop band made up of Saaya Irie, Runa Okada, and Jessica. They have debuted only releasing a couple of songs.

The band rumored its breakup on May 12, 2006. Two of the members, Irie and Okada, went on to form a new trio, named "Chase," with Rio Iguchi. Furthermore, all Chase members starred together in a number of Japanese horror movies. These include Carved (Slit Mouthed Woman) and Shoujo Rei (Girl Ghost).

As Sweet Kiss, in addition to all Sweet Kiss members performing a special audio track in the anime DVD set Class 5-2, Sweet Kiss also released a number of songs for the anime. Note, in the special edition Saaya voiced the role of Chika!

"Hard Luck Woman" is a song by American hard rock band Kiss and the lead single from their 1976 album, Rock and Roll Over. It was originally written by Paul Stanley as a possible track for Rod Stewart, but after the success of the soft rock ballad "Beth", Kiss decided to keep it for themselves as a follow-up. Stanley has stated his admiration and love of Stewart's music numerous times, and that "Hard Luck Woman" was inspired by Rod Stewart, in particular the songs "Maggie May" and "You Wear It Well". While Stewart's music served as a partial inspiration for the song, the nautical themed song "Brandy" by American pop-rock band Looking Glass served as Stanley's main inspiration.

Kyō no Go no Ni is a Japanese seinen manga series created by Koharu Sakuraba, the author of Minami-ke. It was originally serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Young Magazine from 2002 to 2003, and the twenty-two chapters were later collected together in a single tankōbon volume along with two extra chapters and published on November 11, 2003 by Kodansha. The main premise of Kyō no Go no Ni is the school life of the fifth year class 5-2, focusing on an elementary-school boy named Ryōta Satō.

Kenji Ohtsuki is a Japanese rock musician and Seiun Award-winning writer. His musical career began in the late 1970s. He is the vocalist of Kinniku Shōjo Tai, Tokusatsu, Underground Searchlie and Karate Bakabon.
