Syed Faruk Bin Syed Salim Alkaff (born 11 February 1967, in Singapore) was a Singapore national team player from 1988 to 1994. Syed Faruk is currently the managing director of Premier Pitch a company that he founded which manages multiple football playing locations in Singapore. Faruk studied at Anglo-Chinese School on Barker Road, Singapore.

Syed Faruk married Australian Felicia Ayling. They have a son born in 1994 and a daughter born in 1998.

<i>Warta Malaya</i> Former newspaper in Singapore

Warta Malaya, also known as Warta Melayu was a Singaporean and Malayan Malay-language daily newspaper. Written in Jawi script, the newspaper released its first issue in 1930. It later emerged as one of the highest circulating Malay newspapers of the 1930s. The newspaper was politically involved in the early stages of Malay nationalism, and became a paper for the Kesatuan Melayu Muda, an early Malayan left-wing political party. The final issue of the newspaper was published in 1942.
