The World Table Tennis Championships are table tennis competitions sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Melissa Tapper is an Australian table tennis player. After competing at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, she represented Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in elite non-Paralympic competition. In March 2016, she became the first Australian athlete to qualify for both the Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics. She again represented at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. She won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in the Women's Team C9-10.

Lily Ann Zhang is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London with teammates Ariel Hsing and Erica Wu. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio with teammates Jiaqi Zheng and Jennifer Wu. She is a five time US national champion in women's singles. Zhang has won the US national championship in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2011, she was a bronze medalist in women's singles and women's team at the Pan American Games and won the women's doubles title at the Qatar Peace and Sport Cup. She is currently a member of the United States National Women's team. She has been ranked as high as #2 in the cadet (U-15) world ranking and #5 in the junior (U-18) world ranking.

Chen Meng Chinese table tennis player

Chen Meng is a Chinese table tennis player and the current World No. 1 in Women’s Singles. She is the women's singles champion of the ITTF Women's World Cup in 2020 and ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She is also the silver medalist of women's singles in the 2019 World Championships and a double gold medalist in the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The Pan American Table Tennis Cup is an annual table tennis competition held in the Americas since 2017. It consists of men's and women's singles events. Only 16 invited players and no more than 2 players per association are allowed to participate in each event. Since its inception, it is recognised as the qualification event for the Table Tennis World Cup. The competitions are organized as a joint effort of the Latin American Table Tennis Union and the Northern American Table Tennis Union. The event is sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
