Curling at the Winter Olympics

Curling was included in the program of the inaugural Winter Olympic Games in 1924 in Chamonix although the results of that competition were not considered official by the International Olympic Committee until 2006. Lê Ngọc Nguyên Nhung is a Vietnamese badminton player. She joined the Ho Chi Minh City team in 1996, and was a part of the National team at the 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2009 Southeast Asian Games. She was the National Champion in the women's singles event in 2007–2009, and also in the women's doubles event in 2009. In 2008, she competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, but lost in the first round.

Athletics competitions at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games were held at the National Stadium, East Coast Park and Kallang Practice Track in Singapore from 6 to 12 June. A total of 46 athletics events are featured at the 28th SEA Games, divided evenly between the sexes. The marathon started and finished in the stadium and had a route in the surrounding area including the East Coast Park, Marina Bay and the Gardens by the Bay.

2021 Southeast Asian Games 31st edition of the Southeast Asian Games

The 2021 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 31st Southeast Asian Games or 31st SEA Games and also known as Vietnam 2021, is a biennial regional multi-sport event currently held from 12 to 23 May 2022 in Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally scheduled to take place from 21 November to 2 December 2021, it was rescheduled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. The competition features 40 sports, mainly those played at the Olympic Games. This is the second time that Vietnam has hosted the Southeast Asian Games, having previously hosted the 2003 edition.

The curling competitions of the 2022 Winter Olympics were held at the Beijing National Aquatics Centre, one of the Olympic Green venues. Curling competitions were scheduled for every day of the games, from February 2 to February 20. This was the eighth time that curling was part of the Olympic program.
