Nicolaie Taga is a retired Romanian rower. He competed in three events at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and won a gold and a bronze medal in 1992. At the world championships he won a gold medal in 1993 followed by two silvers and two bronzes in 1996–2000.

Waisale Tikoisolomoni Serevi is a former Fijian rugby union football player, coach, and is a member of the World Rugby Hall of Fame. Serevi is renowned for his achievements in rugby sevens, while also enjoying a long career in fifteen-a-side rugby at both club and national team levels. Queen Victoria School (QVS) is a school in Fiji. It was established in 1906 in Nasinu to provide education to the sons of Fijian Chiefs. It later moved to Nanukuloa in Ra when World War II broke out; then the school was moved to Lodoni where the two schools QVS and RKS operated side by side before eventually moving to its current site at Matavatucou, Tailevu.
