Taj Farrant is an Australian guitarist born on May 21, 2009. His journey into music began at the age of six after attending an AC/DC concert with his family, where he was inspired by Angus Young's performance. Taj's talent and passion for guitar quickly became evident, and through YouTube videos he started gaining attention for his skills.
Taj Farrant began touring in 2019. His early performances included appearances at various music festivals and venues, where he quickly gained recognition for his exceptional guitar skills. In that year he appeared on shows like Australia's Got Talent and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where his performances wowed audiences. He’s also shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty fame, KISS and early the next year (January 24, 2020 ) Taj Farrant shared the stage with Carlos Santana playing "Boogie Man / Maggot Brain” at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.
As a 10 year old Taj's dedication and accomplishments earned him endorsements from major brands like Gibson and Elixir Strings, making him one of the youngest guitarists to receive such recognition. In 2020 his family moved to the US to further his music career. He has continued to tour on his own and in 2024 has shared the stage with numerous musicians including renowned blues guitarist Buddy Guy, Eric Gales, Kingfish.
