The distillery is operated by Diageo, and Talisker's 10 year old expression has been nominated as part of their Classic Malts series. The brand is considered a premium Single Malt Whisky.
The Classic Malts of Scotland is a selection of six single malt whiskies, launched and marketed together in 1988 by United Distillers and Vintners which is now owned by Diageo. Ullinish is a crofting township on Loch Bracadale, on the southwest coast of Skye, Scotland. The only promontory fort on Skye is located at Ullinish. It is situated to the west of Struan and just south of the hamlet of Ebost. Historically, Ullinish is associated with the MacLeod family. Of literary note, Samuel Johnson's views and denunciation of James Macpherson's Ossian were confirmed while Johnson was in Ullinish.

Talisker Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located on the south-western area of the Fleurieu Peninsula near the town of Cape Jervis and adjacent to Deep Creek Conservation Park. The conservation park covers 211 ha including areas of thick scrub, some steep walking tracks and the heritage-listed remains of a nineteenth century silver and lead mine.

Minginish is a peninsula on the island of Skye in Scotland. It is situated in south central Skye, between Loch Scavaig and Glen Drynoch in the west and Loch Harport and Glen Sligachan in the south and east. It includes most of the peaks of the Cuillin hills including Sgurr Alasdair, the highest point on the island at 992 metres (3,255 ft). The island of Soay lies offshore across the Soay Sound, with the Small Isles further south across the Cuillin Sound.

Eas Mor is a waterfall on the Minginish peninsula of the island of Skye in Scotland. It lies on the Huisgill Burn just north of the settlement of Talisker in Glen Oraid. There is another unnamed waterfall higher up the valley underneath the heights of Beinn nan Dubh-locahn.

Isle of Raasay Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery on the Inner Hebridean Isle of Raasay in Northwest Scotland. The distillery is owned by R&B Distillers and was the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay when it opened in 2014.
