The main sponsor FDB is a consumer owned grocery chain, whose discount outlets are called Fakta.

Nicki Sørensen was on the team from 2000, Kurt Asle Arvesen and Scott Sunderland from 2001 and Magnus Bäckstedt from 2002.

Nicki Sørensen is a Danish former professional road bicycle racer, and was directeur sportif of UCI Professional Continental team Aqua Blue Sport and Israel–Premier Tech. He competed in five consecutive editions of the Tour de France from 2001 to 2005. Riding as an all-round rider who rode well in hilly terrain, Sørensen was a valued support for the team leader without many wins of his own.

He worked for Team Sky as a sporting director from 2010 until 2013. He finished 4th in the road race at the 2005 UCI Road World Championships, which is the best placement ever for a Swedish rider.

He also won the German National Road Race Championships in 1996. He was a professional rider from 1989 to 1999. After he retired after testing positive for testosterone, he admitted to doping.

Lars Petter Nordhaug is a Norwegian former road bicycle racer, who competed professionally between 2005 and 2017 for the Joker–Bianchi, Belkin Pro Cycling, Team Sky and Aqua Blue Sport teams.

Alessio–Bianchi was an Italian professional cycling team which existed from 1998 to 2004. It was created in 1998 as Ballan. In 1999 Italian wheels manufacturer Alessio came in as co-sponsor, and in 2000 as main sponsor. The team was dissolved by the end of the 2004 season.

The 2007 Danmark Rundt was a men's road bicycle race held from 1 August to 5 August 2008. It was the 17th edition of the men's stage race, which was established in 1985. The race was won by Norwegian rider Kurt Asle Arvesen of Team CSC. Italian rider Enrico Gasparotto of Team Liquigas finished second by 14 seconds with Dane Matti Breschel of Team CSC third.
