The Daddy of Them All is a 1914 American silent comedy film featuring Oliver Hardy.
Ezra, a father with a large family, hears about a competition being held by the County Welfare Society for the largest family. Excited by the prospect of winning the prize, he submits his entry, claiming to have twenty-three children. However, when the Welfare Society asks him to produce his entire family for verification, Ezra realizes that he has miscounted and actually has thirty-three children. He is faced with the daunting task of finding and gathering all of his offspring in time to prove his claim and win the competition. As he searches for his children, Ezra reflects on his life as a father and the challenges of raising such a large family.
