The Girl Guides Association of Saint Christopher and Nevis is the national Guiding organization of Saint Kitts and Nevis. It serves 290 members (as of 2008). [1] Founded in 1931, the girls-only organization became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1993.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is a global association supporting the female-oriented and female-only Guiding and Scouting organizations in 150 countries. It was established in 1928 in Parád, Hungary, and has its headquarters in London, England. It is the counterpart of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). WAGGGS is organized into five regions and operates five international Guiding centers. It holds full member status in the European Youth Forum (YFJ), which operates within the Council of Europe and European Union areas and works closely with these bodies.

The Saint Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) representing Saint Kitts and Nevis. It is also the body responsible for Saint Kitts and Nevis' representation at the Commonwealth Games. The executive board consists of the president, secretary general, vice president, assistant secretary general, and four members. The president is Alphonso Bridgewater and the secretary general is Glenville Jeffers. The NOC was officially located at the Charles Wilkin Building from 1994 to 2005, when it moved to the Olympic House in Basseterre, Saint Kitts.

The Caribbean Link for Guiding is a consortium of 21 Girl Guide Associations from throughout the Caribbean. These include associations from independent countries as well as from British Overseas Territories, coordinated by Girlguiding UK. It was created in 1958.

2008 CARIFTA Games

The 37th CARIFTA Games was held in the Bird Rock Athletic Stadium in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, on March 21–24, 2008. IAAF president Lamine Diack was visiting the games emphasizing the event's importance and high value. Detailed reports on the results were given.
