Juliana Hatfield American guitarist/singer-songwriter and author

Juliana Hatfield is an American musician and singer-songwriter from the Boston area, formerly of the indie rock bands Blake Babies, Some Girls, and The Lemonheads. She also fronted her own band, The Juliana Hatfield Three, along with bassist Dean Fisher and drummer Todd Philips, which was active in the mid-1990s and again in the mid-2010s. It was with the Juliana Hatfield Three that she produced her best-charting work, including the critically acclaimed albums Become What You Are (1993) and Whatever, My Love (2015) and the singles "My Sister" (1993) and "Spin the Bottle" (1994).

Former drummer Jesse Smith, vocalist Dan Weyandt, and guitarists Scott Mellinger and Russ Cogdell are seen by some fans as the "core" of Zao, with the current line up being the longest running in the band's history.

The Juliana Theory American rock band

The Juliana Theory is an American rock duo from Greensburg and Latrobe, Pennsylvania, United States. They signed to Tooth & Nail Records, and later to Epic Records for the release of the album Love. They released four studio albums before disbanding in 2006. The band has since reunited three times; once in 2010 for eight shows, again in 2017 for a tour celebrating their 20th anniversary along with 2019, Brett Detar and Joshua Fiedler announced a tour, together with the Spill Canvas, performing Juliana Theory songs acoustically. In 2020 The Juliana Theory announced signing with Equal Vision Records and released their debut EVR single "Can't Go Home" on November 20, 2020.

Kimya Dawson American folk singer-songwriter

Kimya Dawson is an American folk singer-songwriter, best known as one half of the anti-folk duo the Moldy Peaches. Dawson's work with the Moldy Peaches earned her a cult following and critical acclaim, with their 2001 song "Anyone Else But You" landing a spot in multiple acclaimed indie film soundtracks. "Anyone Else But You" as performed by Michael Cera and Elliot Page charted on the Billboard Hot 100 after its prominent inclusion in the 2007 film Juno, the soundtrack of which includes several songs by Dawson and her associated musical acts. The song remains Dawson's highest charting single to date. In addition to her work with the Moldy Peaches, Dawson has released seven solo studio albums and collaborated with various other artists from a diverse range of genres, including Aesop Rock, They Might Be Giants, The Mountain Goats, and Third Eye Blind.

Loop (band)

Loop are an English rock band, formed in 1986 by Robert Hampson in Croydon. The group topped the UK independent charts with their albums Fade Out (1989) and A Gilded Eternity (1990). Their dissonant "trance-rock" sound drew on the work of artists like the Stooges, Suicide and Can, and helped to resurrect the concept of space rock in the late 1980s.

Emotion Is Dead is the second studio album by American rock band the Juliana Theory, released on August 29, 2000, on Tooth & Nail Records. While touring in support of their debut studio album Understand This Is a Dream (1999), guitarist Jeremiah Momper and was replaced by Joshua Kosker of Dawson High. Shortly afterwards, the band had begun writing material for the follow-up album. In February and March 2000, the band recorded their next album, with producers Barry Poynter and frontman Brett Detar, at Poynter's Palace in Little Rock, Arkansas, The Detar House, and Poynter's spare bedroom and living room. Described as an alternative rock and emo release, Emotion Is Dead took elements from Iron Maiden, Radiohead, and the Smashing Pumpkins.

Love is the third studio album by American rock band the Juliana Theory. It was released on February 4, 2003, through Epic Records. After signing to that label in mid-2001, the band connected with Jerry Harrison, and began recording their next album in early 2002. Harrison and the Juliana Theory frontman Brett Detar produced the sessions; recording was held at The Site in Nicasio, California, Sausalito Sound in Sausalito, California, Lightning Tiger Studios in San Rafael, California, and Detar's basement and bedroom in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The Most Beautiful is the fourth full-length studio album by American indie rock band Rookie of the Year and the first solo album by the last remaining member and vocalist Ryan Dunson. This is the first album by Rookie of the Year that will not be released by their previous record label One Eleven Records instead being released on Future Destination Records. The Most Beautiful was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia at Marigolds+Monsters. The album was scheduled to be released on May 25, 2010 worldwide but was delayed one week to June 1. The Second Wave: 25 Years of NWOBHM is a split studio album released in 2003 by British indie label Communiqué Records. The album contains five songs each from veteran bands of the new wave of British heavy metal Oliver/Dawson Saxon, Girlschool and Tygers of Pan Tang. The album features both new songs and already published ones, sometimes re-recorded for the occasion. The release of the album had to be followed by a UK tour of the three bands together, but Oliver/Dawson Saxon did not participate. The cover design was by Robb Weir's nephew and Vectis radio DJ, Tim Pritchard with Paris-based designer Kev Baldwyn. The painting used was commissioned by Robb Weir and painted by Isle of Wight-based artist, John Patty.

Andrew Dawson is an American music producer, engineer, mixer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Dawson is a three-time Grammy award winner and six-time Grammy nominee, having won for his work as engineer and mixer on Kanye West's Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010) - each winning the Best Rap Album category. Dawson is also credited with additional production on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Although Dawson made his initial breakthrough with hip hop artists including Kanye West, Jay-Z, Common, Tyler The Creator, and P.O.S, Dawson has also moved on to produce and work on records for pop, indie and rock bands including fun., The Rolling Stones, Pet Shop Boys, Sleigh Bells, Baskery and Night Terrors of 1927.
