The Soundtrack Channel (STC) was a 24-hour cable and satellite channel which featured various film and television music. The channel featured music videos and other related programming. STC exclusively featured music videos from movie and television soundtracks, including original movie videos that were produced specifically for the channel. Soundtrack Channel also featured entertainment news, behind-the-scenes specials of the movie-making process and celebrity interviews.

Anik F1R, which had been in service for 15 years, reached its end of life in the latter part of 2020, when the services on this satellite were migrated between the remaining two. These satellites are owned by Telesat Canada and otherwise are used primarily to distribute programming to various Canadian cable TV companies. The company was formerly known as Star Choice until April 15, 2009.

White Springs Television (WSTV) was an American internet television channel which featured mainly motion pictures. It was owned by White Springs Media, and had its studios in Portland, Oregon, and technical facilities in White Springs, Florida. The network was a namesake of the town. It was established in August 2005 by Victor Ives, a veteran Portland broadcaster who helped relaunch KEBN channel 32 in 1994 with an all-movie schedule. This helped inspire Ives to create a movie channel featuring all movies around the clock—mostly with films from the public domain and made-for-TV movies, with TV commercials and short features seen only between films.

Phoenix Movies Channel is one of the six channels that Phoenix Television operates. It was launched on August 28, 1998, and serves as an encrypted pay-television service. Currently the encrypted signal is beamed via AsiaSat 3S across China, Vietnam and South Korea. In the beginning, it was broadcast via cable in Hong Kong, and via satellite to Taiwan, and other regions worldwide besides the mainland. Due to stiff competition from other Chinese movie channels, the channel was withdrawn from those regions.
