Chin State is a state in western Myanmar. The 36,019-square-kilometre (13,907 sq mi) Chin State is bordered by Sagaing Division and Magway Division to the east, Rakhine State to the south, Bangladesh to the south-west, and the Indian states of Mizoram to the west and Manipur to the north. The population of Chin state is about 478,801 in 2014 census. The capital of the state is Hakha. The state is a mountainous region with few transportation links. Chin State is sparsely populated and remains one of the least developed areas of the country. Chin State has the highest poverty rate of 73% as per the released figures from the first official survey.The official radio broadcasting dialect of Chin is Falam. There are 53 different subtribe and languages in Chin State. There are nine townships in Chin State. Hakha, Thantlang, Falam, Tedim, Tonzang, Matupi, Mindat, Kanpetlet and Paletwa townships. In 1926,it became a part of Pakokku Hill Tracts Districts of British Burma until 1948,January 4.
Big Wapwallopen Creek is a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately 23 miles (37 km) long and flows through Bear Creek Township, Fairview Township, Rice Township, Wright Township, Dorrance Township, Hollenback Township, Nescopeck Township, and Conyngham Township. The watershed of the creek has an area of 53.2 square miles (138 km2). The creek has three named tributaries: Balliet Run, Watering Run, and Bow Creek. The creek is designated as a Coldwater Fishery and a Migratory Fishery and is also Class A Wild Trout Waters for part of its length. However, a portion is considered to be impaired by organic enrichment and/or low levels of dissolved oxygen and its pH ranges from moderately acidic to slightly alkaline.

It has gained importance with trans border movement enabled between Burma and India following the 165 kilometres (103 mi) Tamu–Kalayamyo section of India–Myanmar–Thailand Trilateral Highway built by the Border Roads Organization of India under the Look-East Connectivity policy. Thanlyin Bridge No. 2 is a bridge that link the cities of Thanlyin and Yangon in Myanmar. The 1.38 km bridge link the Dagon Seikkan township on the Yangon side and the Kalawe village on the Thanlyin side. The motorway on it is 22 meters wide, flanked by 1.83 meter (6-foot) pedestrian lanes. The clearance is 39.6 meters wide and 5.5 meters high. Its maximum loading capacity is 75 tons.
Attaran Bridge is a bridge in the township of Mawlamyine, in the Mon State of Burma. It is suspended by steel cable with a reinforced concrete foundation. It is 1,420 feet long and 24 feet wide and was reported to have cost K 580.6 million. The bridge was established as part of infrastructural projects to develop Mon State socio-economically.

Kyauktawgyi Buddha Temple is a Buddhist temple located on Mindhamma Hill on Mingaladon Township, Yangon, Burma. The temple houses a 25 feet (7.6 m) feet tall Buddha called the Loka Chantha Abhaya Labha Muni, which is carved out of a single piece of white marble quarried in Sagyin Hill, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region. The image weighs approximately 560 tons. The Buddha is carved making the abhayamudra (အဘယမုဒြာ), the gesture of fearlessness.
