Thorndale is a census-designated place in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,407 at the 2010 census. Thorndale is the commercial and administrative center of Caln Township. The community's main street is U.S. Route 30 Business. Many of Thorndale's old houses fell into disrepair from the late 1990s to present and have been torn down and replaced with new businesses. Thorndale is historically notable for containing a summer house of US President James Buchanan, which still stands and has been incorporated into a golf course and turned into a restaurant. The community contains the Thorndale Fire Station and Caln Elementary School, part of the Coatesville Area School District. Thorndale sits along SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line and is currently the last station stop on that line. It is also served by the Rover bus system.
Thorndale is a city in Milam County, Texas, with a small part in Williamson County. The population was 1,336 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1878 about 3 miles west of its present site, and moved to its current site in 1880.
Thorndale is an 'L' station on the CTA's Red Line. It is located at 1118 West Thorndale Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The adjacent stations are Granville, located about one quarter mile to the north, and Bryn Mawr, about one half mile to the south. Four tracks pass through the station, but there is only a single island platform in the center of the tracks; Purple Line weekday rush hour express service use the outside tracks but do not stop at this station. Thorndale is named for the Thorndale station in the community of the same name, which is west of Philadelphia. Many of the streets in the Edgewater neighborhood are named after stops on the former PRR Main Line.

Paoli is a census-designated place in Chester County near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated in portions of two townships: Tredyffrin and Willistown. At the 2010 census, it had a total population of 5,575.

Doylestown station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It is the last station along SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown Line. Located at the intersection of Bridge Street and Clinton Avenue, the station has a 169-space parking lot. It was originally built in 1871 by the Reading Railroad, as a much more elaborate Victorian structure than the present station. It had a decorative cupola over the ticket window and served as a Reading Railroad office at one point. The former freight house survives to this day. This station is wheelchair accessible.
Radnor station is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Radnor, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line and is located on King of Prussia Road. All trains stop at Radnor. The station is located near the Paoli/Thorndale Line Radnor station, and is close to Radnor High School and Archbishop John Carroll High School. Trains running northwest of this station cross under a bridge that carries the Paoli/Thorndale Line as well as Amtrak's Pennsylvanian and Keystone Service lines. The station lies 7.9 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. The station has off-street parking available.
County Line station is an interurban rapid transit station on the SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line. The station is located on County Line Road near Matsonford Road in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Local, Hughes Park Express, and Norristown Express trains all stop at County Line. Trains running south of this station cross under a bridge that carries the Paoli/Thorndale Line as well as Amtrak's Pennsylvanian and Keystone Service lines. The station lies 8.6 track miles from 69th Street Terminal.
Coatesville is an Amtrak rail station located in the far western suburbs of Philadelphia at Third Avenue and Fleetwood Street in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Amtrak Keystone Service trains. An old railroad station building exists at the stop, but is not currently used. There is no ticket office at this station. Coatesville is one of the least-used stations on the Keystone Corridor east of Harrisburg. This may be due to a lack of parking as well as its proximity to Thorndale Station on the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line. SEPTA once served this station from 1990 to 1996 when the agency was forced to close a $75 million gap and has since truncated its service.

Locksley station is a disused railroad station in Thornbury Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It previously served the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) and later SEPTA Regional Rail's R3 West Chester Line. SEPTA closed the station in 1986. In 1997, this portion of the line was reopened by the West Chester Railroad heritage railway for weekend excursions; the company restored the Locksley station building.
The Lansdale/Doylestown Line is a SEPTA Regional Rail line connecting Center City Philadelphia to Doylestown in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Until 1981, diesel-powered trains continued on the Bethlehem Branch from Lansdale to Quakertown, Bethlehem, and Allentown. Restored service has been proposed, but is not planned by SEPTA. The line is currently used by the East Penn Railroad, serving Quakertown's industrial complexes and distribution centers.
