Tickles was a small settlement with seven families. It is located in the Placentia and St. Mary's District. It had a population of 61 in 1951 and 58 in 1956.

Ridgedale is a village in northeastern Saskatchewan, Canada near the Carrot River.
The Gritstone Trail, or Cheshire Gritstone Trail, is a 56-kilometre (35 mi) long-distance footpath in England which follows the most westerly hills of the Peak District from Disley Station to Mow Cop, and on via the Macclesfield Canal to Kidsgrove Station. Managed by Cheshire East, the trail involves 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) of ascent and is mainly outside the National Park. There are other routes in the Peak District referred to as a “Gritstone Trail” but they are less well established.
