Timothy Dann is a British voice-over artist, actor and writer. He is best known for his voice work on CITV, CBBC the comedy shows Hedz & OOglies. He also co-created and wrote OOglies with fellow writers Nick Hopkin & Austin Low. In 2009, he also provided the voice of the Total Intelligence Mechanism in the CBBC series Wait For It..!.

Howard Oliver Drinkwater Read is a British screenwriter, comedian, and animator best known for his work with his animated sidekick, Little Howard. His other creations include an angry manager with a conversational style and the worldview of Bernard Manning, Roger T. Pigeon, and H:BOT 2000, a robot from the future. Each of these characters interacts with both Big Howard and each other.
Otis the Aardvark is a puppet of an aardvark that was a presenter on Children's BBC on British television. Otis mainly presented the afternoon links on BBC One alongside the main CBBC presenters. Otis was thought to be inspired by the 1992 Children's BBC idents which ended with a voice proclaiming "Tell that aardvark it's a wrap". These idents led to much speculation as to what the phrase meant. However, these idents were dropped just before the character of Otis appeared in late 1994.

Nev the Bear is a small, blue puppet bear that originally appeared in the CBBC television programme Smile. Since 2007, Nev has starred in his own CBBC show Bear Behaving Badly, alongside Barney Harwood. His name was created from the name of his co-star Dev Griffin on Smile. He was last seen on Hacker Time when Derek puts Nev on Line 1 for Barney Harwood. Nev has patches in places on his body and is missing part of his ear. This is due to Bandit the cat, who is seen in some episodes of Bear Behaving Badly, biting it off.

OOglies is a stop-motion animated children's television series produced by BBC Scotland for CBBC, and distributed worldwide by Classic Media. The show involves short sketches that play for 30 seconds to a minute starring household items and food, virtually all of which have googly eyes stuck on, hence the show's title.

The series stars Dani Harmer reprising her role as protagonist Tracy Beaker. The third and final series ended on 23 March 2012. He is described as being born and living in Wigan, Greater Manchester. He is the half-brother of Dodge T Dog and is the son of Mrs T Dog, with a father never mentioned or seen. It started airing on CBBC on 6 November 2017 and is the third animated adaptation of the strip after Dennis and Gnasher and Dennis the Menace and Gnasher. The series stars Freddie Fox as Dennis. A second series began on 13 July 2020.
