Tol (also known as Toleisom) is the largest and most populous island in the Faichuk group of islands in Chuuk State, Federated States of Micronesia. Located in the west of Truk Lagoon, it is surrounded by the other islands such as Onei, Paata, and Polle.
Tol island is a municipality of the State of Chuuk. The island has 10 main villages. The 10 main villages are sometimes divided into a Division or Kumi usually whenever there is a Mayoral Election on the island or within the State of Chuuk.
•Ikku Division (Ikkumi) consist the villages of Wichukuno,Chukienu, and Foson.
•Yongku Division (Yongkumi) consist the villages of Foup and Foupo.
•Niku Division (Nikumi) consist the villages of Winifei, Nechocho, Faro, and Munien.
•Sangku Division (Sangkumi) only consist the village of Wonip.
Most of these 10 main villages also contain sub-villages or sections of each village. Within the sub-villages, there are numerous areas of each sub-village.
The highest point on Tol, Mount Winipot, is the highest point in Chuuk State, at an elevation of 448 meters (1,470ft). The high jungle forest which surrounds this peak is the sole habitat of the endemic great Truk white-eye.

Agano (阿賀野) was the lead ship of her class of four light cruisers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during World War II. Completed in 1942, she escorted a troop convoy to New Guinea in December. In early 1943 the ship participated in Operation Ke, the evacuation of Japanese troops from Guadalcanal. Six months later Agano transported troops and supplies to New Guinea and she played a minor role in the Battle of Empress Augusta Bay in early November. A few weeks later, the ship was badly damaged by American airstrikes and she sailed for Truk under her own power the following day. While en route, Agano was torpedoed by an American submarine and had to be towed to her destination. After several months of repairs, she left for Japan, but was intercepted and sunk by another American submarine in February 1944. Most of her crew was rescued by her escorting destroyer, but that ship was sunk with the loss of most of her crew and all of Agano's survivors by an American airstrike the following day.
Tonowas , also known by its Spanish name of Dublon, is an island in the Chuuk lagoon, Federated States of Micronesia. It has an area of 8.8 km2 and the population was 3,200 at the time of the last census (1980). A narrow single-lane track rings the island, allowing land access to the small villages Five schools and Japanese military ruins, which include the remains of a seaplane anchorage and large fuel storage tanks. A Japanese administrative center dating from the 1920-1930s mandate period can still be found, and is currently used as a government building.

The teardrop white-eye, also known as the Faichuk white-eye, Truk white-eye, or great Truk white-eye, is a species of bird in the family Zosteropidae. Some advocate that it is the only true member of the genus Rukia, or the "great white-eyes".
Namonuito Atoll, also called Namonweito, Weito, or Magur Islands, is the largest atoll of the Federated States of Micronesia and of the Caroline Islands with a total area of 2,267 square kilometres, unless one considers the still larger Chuuk (Truk) Lagoon as a type of atoll in an early stage of development. In Micronesia, only Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall Islands is still larger.

Fujikawa Maru was a cargo ship originally built in 1938 for the Toyo Kaiun Kisen Kaisha and was requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II for use as an armed aircraft transport or ferry. She was sunk in Truk Lagoon in 1944 during Operation Hailstone and is now a leading wreck diving site for scuba divers.
The office of the Governor of Chuuk is the highest elected position in the state of Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. The state was called Truk until 1989, so the title of this office prior to the change was Governor of Truk.
Kuop or Neoch is an atoll in the state of Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. Its area of 0.5 km2 is uninhabited.
Aikoku Maru (愛国丸) was an armed merchant cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II. The ship entered service in 1940, the ship was later converted to an ammunition ship. She was sunk in February 1944 during Operation Hailstone.
Heian Maru (平安丸) was a Japanese ocean liner launched in 1930 and operated primarily on the NYK line's trans-Pacific service between Yokohama and Seattle. Shortly before the outbreak of the Pacific War, it was requisitioned by the Imperial Japanese Navy and converted to use as an auxiliary submarine tender. In 1944 it was sunk by American aircraft at Chuuk Lagoon during Operation Hailstorm. Its submerged hulk – the largest of Chuuk's "Ghost Fleet" – remains a popular scuba diving destination.
Kimiuo Aisek Memorial Museum is a museum in Chuuk State, in the Federated States of Micronesia. It is the first museum to be established on the island.
