Tol (also known as Toleisom) is the largest and most populous island in the Faichuk group of islands in Chuuk State, Federated States of Micronesia. Located in the west of Truk Lagoon, it is surrounded by the other islands such as Onei, Paata, and Polle.
Tol island is a municipality of the State of Chuuk. The island has 10 main villages. The 10 main villages are sometimes divided into a Division or Kumi usually whenever there is a Mayoral Election on the island or within the State of Chuuk.
•Ikku Division (Ikkumi) consist the villages of Wichukuno,Chukienu, and Foson. This area comprises the northeastern part of Tol Island.
•Yongku Division (Yongkumi) in the north consist the villages of Foup and Foupo, as well as Amwachang. This area is not on Tol Island anymore, but comprises the southern two-thirds of Wonei Island (the northern third of Wonei Island comprises Wonei municipality).
•Niku Division (Nikumi) consist the villages of Winifei, Nechocho, Faro, and Munien. This area comprises the southern part of Tol Island.
•Sangku Division (Sangkumi) only consist the village of Wonip. This area comprises the western part of Tol Island.
Most of these 10 main villages also contain sub-villages or sections of each village. Within the sub-villages, there are numerous areas of each sub-village.
The highest point on Tol, Mount Winipot, is the highest point in Chuuk State, at an elevation of 448 meters (1,470ft). The high jungle forest which surrounds this peak is the sole habitat of the endemic great Truk white-eye.

Weno city on Weno Island functions as both the atoll's capital and the state capital, and is the largest city in the FSM with its 13,700 people.
Satawan Atoll is an atoll located about 250 kilometers (160 mi) southeast of Chuuk Lagoon proper. Geographically it is part of the Nomoi or Mortlock Islands in the Carolines and administratively it is part of Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia. About 3,000 people live on a land area of 5 square kilometers (1.9 sq mi).
Weno, formerly Moen, is an island municipality of Chuuk State of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). It is the largest town in the FSM and the capital of Chuuk. It has an estimated area of 20 square kilometers.
Chuuk State is one of the four states of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). Tonoas (or Tonowas), also known by its Spanish name of Dublon, is an island in the Chuuk (formerly Truk) lagoon, Federated States of Micronesia. It has an area of 8.8 km2 and the population was 3,514 at the time of the last census (2010-04-04), on an area of 9.17 km². These are the figurer for the whole municipality of Tonoas, which also includes Eten Island some 620 meters to the south. The municipal headquarters are located in Roro (Rörö) district and village.
Fefan is the third largest inhabited island of the Chuuk Lagoon in the Federated States of Micronesia. It has an area of 13.2 km2 and a population of about 3,000 and is the second largest municipality in the Chuuk State. The northern part of the island is hilly and peaks at 298 meters above sea level.
Faichuk is a group of four islands separated from one another by narrow canals in the western part of Truk Lagoon, Chuuk, Micronesia. The tightly knit islands are considered as one for statistical and administrative purposes.
Namonuito Atoll, also called Namonweito, Weito, or Magur Islands, is the largest atoll of the Federated States of Micronesia and of the Caroline Islands with a total area of 2,267 square kilometres, unless one considers the still larger Chuuk (Truk) Lagoon as a type of atoll in an early stage of development. In Micronesia, only Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall Islands is still larger.
Poluwat, also Polowat, formerly Puluwat, is a coral atoll and a municipality of Chuuk state, Federated States of Micronesia.
Tsis is a municipality of Chuuk, in the Federated States of Micronesia.
Etten is an island in Chuuk Lagoon, in the Federated States of Micronesia. It is located 620 meters to the south of Dublon Island and has an area of 52 hectares. It is part of Tonoas (Dublon) municipality, and forms one of Dublon's 19 historical districts.
Uman Island is an island of Uman municipality in Chuuk State, Federated States of Micronesia, with an area of 4.70 km². Highest elevation is Mt. Uroras with 273 meters.
Kuop or Neoch is an atoll in the state of Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. Its area of 0.5 km2 is uninhabited.
US Naval Base Carolines included a number of United States Navy bases on the Caroline Islands in the western Pacific Ocean, to the north of New Guinea during World War II. The bases were built to support the island hopping Pacific War efforts of the allied nations fighting the Empire of Japan.
