Tongzhou may refer to:
Tongzhou District is a district of Beijing. It is located in southeast Beijing and considered the eastern gateway to the nation's capital. Downtown Tongzhou itself lies around 20 km (12 mi) east of central Beijing, at the northern end of the Grand Canal and at the easternmost end of Chang'an Avenue. The entire district covers an area of 906 km2 (350 sq mi), or 6% of Beijing's total area. It had a population of 673,952 at the 2000 Census, and has seen significant growth and development since then, growing to a population of 1,184,000 at the 2010 Census. The district is subdivided into four subdistricts, ten towns, and one ethnic township.

The Jingtong Expressway is an expressway with express road characteristics in Beijing which links the central Chaoyang District to Tongzhou District. At present, it is approximately 14 km (8.7 mi) in length.
The Batong Line of the Beijing Subway is a surface level rapid transit east-west rail line in eastern Beijing. It extends Line 1 further east from Sihui to the suburbs in Tongzhou District and, before that, eastern Chaoyang District. The Batong Line derives its name by combining the first character of Bawangfen (八王坟), another name for Sihui, and Tongzhou (通州), the eastern suburban district of Beijing which the line serves. Since, aside from Line 6, the Batong Line is the only subway line serving Tongzhou and eastern Chaoyang Districts, it tends to experience very crowded conditions during rush hour. The Pinggu Line, currently being planned, will provide additional capacity when opened.
Hangzhou Metro is a metro system that serves the Chinese city of Hangzhou and surrounding suburbs. The system opened on November 24, 2012, with major expansion plans still ongoing, including a connection to neighboring Shaoxing which is building its own metro. It is the 17th city in China to operate a rapid transit system.
Line 7 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit rail line in Beijing. It runs parallel and to the south of Line 1 and Batong line, from the Beijing West Railway Station in Fengtai District to Jiaohuachang in Chaoyang District. Construction began in January 2010. It started test runs in September 2014 with full operation beginning on December 28, 2014. Like Line 6, Line 7 provides additional relief to the overcapacity Line 1 adding another east-west trunk line to the Beijing Subway network.
Line 6 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit rail line in Beijing. The line runs from Jin'anqiao in Shijingshan District to Lucheng in Tongzhou District. It serves important residential areas such as Changying, Chaoqing, and Dingfuzhuang, in addition to important commercial and business areas such as Financial Street, Beijing CBD and the sub-administrative center in Tongzhou District. Line 6 is the second longest subway line in Beijing. A complete journey from end to end takes about an hour and 25 minutes.
The Fangshan Line of the Beijing Subway is a subway line in western Beijing that runs from Yancun East in Fangshan District north and east to Guogongzhuang in Fengtai District. The line is 25.40 km (15.78 mi) long, has 12 stations and opened on December 31, 2010. The most recent expansion of the line came on December 30, 2017 with the opening of the section from Suzhuang to Yancun East. The line is mainly elevated. It allows residents of Beijing's western suburbs to connect to the rest of the Beijing Subway network.
The Yizhuang Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line that connects the Yizhuang Industrial Park with Beijing's subway network. The line is 23.23 kilometres (14.43 mi) long with 14 stations, including six underground and eight on the surface. It runs from Songjiazhuang in Fengtai District to Yizhuang Railway Station in Tongzhou District and passes through the southern Chaoyang and northern Daxing Districts. Total investment for the line was estimated at ¥1.2 billion. Construction began on December 8, 2007 and the line opened on December 30, 2010.
Line 15 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit rail line in northern Beijing. The line is has a total length of 41.4 kilometres (25.7 mi) across northern Beijing from Qinghuadongluxikou in Haidian District in the west, to Fengbo in Shunyi District in the east. The line uses Sparcs CBTC system supplied by Nippon Signal. It cost ¥17.6 billion. The line features 6-car trains similar to other lines in the Beijing Subway. Line 15 tunnels will be up to 38 metres (125 ft) underground, making them the deepest in Beijing's subway system. Trains run every five minutes during the rush hour, with a journey from Fengbo to Qinghuadongluxikou station taking 60 minutes.

Guanzhuang Station is a station on Line 15 of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on December 28, 2014.
Lucheng is a station and the eastern terminus of the Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. The construction of this station began on September 20, 2012, and was completed in 2014. This station is located in the town of Lucheng in Tongzhou District, Beijing, after which it is named; it is only 3 km (1.9 mi) away from the border with Hebei province, specifically, the town of Yanjiao in the Sanhe exclave. The east end of Lucheng Station connects to Dongxiaoying rail yard.
