Toulon Tournament

The Toulon Tournament is a football tournament which traditionally features invited national teams composed of under-21 players. Although the first tournament in 1967 featured club teams, it has been limited to national teams since 1974. The tournament is held around the Region-du-Var, with the final usually being held in Toulon itself.

The 2009 Toulon Tournament was the 37th edition of the Toulon Tournament, and was held from 3 June to 12 June 2009. The tournament concluded with the final between France and Chile at Stade Mayol in Toulon as Chile won their first title after the final score of 1–0, scored by Gerson Martínez on 73rd minute.

The 2017 Toulon Tournament was the 45th edition of the Toulon Tournament. The tournament was named after Maurice Revello, who started the tournament in 1967 and died in 2016. It was held in the region of Provence from 29 May to 10 June 2017. The 2017 edition was the first to feature 12 teams.

The 2017 Toulon Tournament was an international association football tournament held in Provence, France. The twelve national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 20 players; only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. Each squad was composed of Under-20 players. All ages as of start of the tournament.
