The Tunsu River or Pârâul Tunsului is a tributary of the Porumbacu River in Romania.
A tributary or affluent is a stream or river that flows into a larger stream or main stem river or a lake. A tributary does not flow directly into a sea or ocean. Tributaries and the main stem river drain the surrounding drainage basin of its surface water and groundwater, leading the water out into an ocean.
The Porumbacu River is a left tributary of the river Olt in Romania. It discharges into the Olt in Porumbacu de Jos. It starts at the confluence of headwaters Șerbota and Râul Sărății
