Tuula Irmeli Peltonen (born 4 September 1962 in Juuka) is a Finnish politician and member of Finnish Parliament, representing the SDP. She has been member of parliament two times: 2007-2011 and 2011-2015.

Ville Sakari Peltonen is a Finnish ice hockey coach and a former professional ice hockey forward. Peltonen was drafted by the San Jose Sharks as their third round pick, 58th overall, in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. During his professional career, he has played 382 NHL games for Sharks, Nashville Predators and Florida Panthers. Internationally, he represented the Finland men's national ice hockey team, and was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2016.

Tuula Linnainmaa is a retired Finnish politician representing the National Coalition Party. She served as a Member of Parliament for the Uusimaa constituency in 1987–1997, and as the transport minister in the first Lipponen cabinet in 1995–1997. In 1997, she was appointed the inaugural Governor of the newly-formed Southern Finland Province, serving there until 2003. She was also active for many years in local politics, as a member of the Espoo City Council.
