Ulice (meaning 'street') is a Czech soap opera produced by Nova. It is aired five times a week.
The show describes the lives of the Farský, Jordán, Boháč, Nykl, Liška and Maléř families and many other people that live in Prague. Their daily battle against real problems of living in a modern world like divorce, love, betrayal, drug addiction, gay rights, and illness or disease. Ulice often shows crime (for example a group of Ukrainian mafia, assassination of mafia boss Ševčenko, stalking by Mr. Kukačka).
Elkov–Kasper is a UCI Continental road bicycle racing team based in Czech Republic and participates on the UCI Europe Tour. The sponsors of the team are Elkov, an electrical company, and Kasper, a steel manufacturer. The team was one of the best cycling teams before the lifting of the Iron Curtain. The team became professional in 2000. The best known riders for the team were Alois Kaňkovský and Tomáš Bucháček. For the 2008 season the German sprinter André Schulze came from the Wiesenhof team and also Czech cyclist Ondřej Sosenka, a former World Hour Record holder, joined the team.
Parliamentary elections were held in the Czech Republic on 28–29 May 2010 to elect the 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies. The elections had been expected to take place sometime before the end of 2009, but was postponed due to legal challenges. Before the election, the country had been governed by a caretaker administration headed by Jan Fischer. The Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was the front-runner of the election and its leader Jiří Paroubek was the favourite to become the new Prime Minister.

Based on real characters and events, this haunting drama focuses on the personal sacrifice of a Prague history student, Jan Palach, who set himself on fire in 1969 in protest against the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in the previous year. Dagmar Burešová, a young female lawyer, became part of his legacy by defending Palach's family in a trial against the communist government, a regime which tried to dishonour Palach’s sacrifice, a heroic action for the freedom of Czechoslovakia.

Tvoje tvář má známý hlas is a Czech reality singing series that is aired on Nova. It is both based on the Endemol format Your Face Sounds Familiar and an adaptation of the Spanish "Tu cara me suena." The show was first broadcast on March 26, 2016, and is still aired. The show involves eight or ten celebrities portraying various iconic singers each week to win 25,000 CZK for their chosen charity.

Vinaři (Winemakers) is a Czech television series from Prima televize. It is set in South Moravia and was broadcast by Prima station from 31 August 2014 to 13 December 2015. It was written by Petr Kolečko. This is the third series of this television in 2014.[4] The first season had a total of 16 episodes, which aired from late August to mid-December 2014 every Sunday in prime time. The subtitle reads: "A series about wine and the people around it". The opening song "Wine" is performed by the band Chinaski. On 9 June 2015, the preparation of the second season was confirmed, and the broadcast of which began on 30 August of the same year. With the transfer of the story from South Moravia to Polabí, the opening song also underwent textual changes.
