Uraan is a Pakistani drama television serial which premiered on Geo Entertainment on 6 November 2010. The serial is written by Urdu novelist and screenplay writer Umera Ahmed, directed by Yasir Nawaz and produced by Evernew Productions. It is a serial that not only deals with the issues of marriage, divorce and domestic violence but also recognizes the strength, talent and courage of the modern Pakistani woman. Retitled as Maan Jaao, it also aired in India on Zindagi.

It was created and directed by Sarmad Khoosat, produced by Babar Javed and was originally conceptualized by Imran Aslam in 2002 and written by Sarmad Sehbai in 2004. Mor Mahal is known as one of the biggest television projects in Asia. The serial stars Umair Jaswal, Meesha Shafi, Hina Khawaja Bayat, Sania Saeed and Fiza Ali in the lead roles. The cast also includes Shah Fahad, Jana Malik, Sonia Nazir, Kinza Hashmi and Ali Saleem. Umair Jaswal who played the role of a nawab alongside Meesha Shafi and both of them made their television debut through this series.
