Vanaja is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by Rajnesh Domalpalli on a story that constituted his Master of Fine Arts thesis at Columbia University. The film was made on a shoestring budget using a cast of non-professional first-timers for two and a half months.
Vanaja is a former municipality of Finland. It was located in Tavastia Proper about 100 kilometres (60 mi) north of Helsinki. It is also speculated that it might have been the name for an Iron Age and early Middle Ages settlement found opposite to the Häme Castle.

A remake of the Telugu film Chuttalunnaru Jagratha (1980), it stars Rajinikanth, Sridevi and Raadhika. The film revolves around a man who was framed for murder, and a lookalike who aids him in finding the true killers. It was released on 14 January 1982 and became a commercial success, running for over 100 days in theatres.
Bhakta Potana is a 1943 Telugu biographical film based on the life of Potana, who translated Bhagavatham into Telugu language. The film was scripted by Samudrala Raghavacharya, and directed by Kadiri Venkata Reddy. The film had celebrated Jubilee runs all over the South India including Mysore state and Kerala. The film was remade in 1966, starring Chittor V. Nagaiah as Potana.
Esko Tie was a professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. He played for Hämeenlinnan Tarmo and HPK. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1994.

The Province of Häme was a province of Finland from 1831 to 1997.
Maalaiskunta (Finnish), landskommun (Swedish), "rural municipality", abbreviated mlk was one of the four types of municipality in Finland in 1865–1976. Other types in 1865–1959 were city and market town, in 1960–1976 old city, new city and market town. Maalaiskunta was the most common type of municipality. In the 1977 reform, all municipalities were given fully equal legal standing. Previous maalaiskuntas associated with a city retained their name. For example, Rovaniemen maalaiskunta surrounded the city of Rovaniemi, but were independently governed. From 2009, no municipalities will carry this name any more, after the merger of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylän mlk.
Vanaja Girija is a 1994 Tamil comedy film directed by Keyaar. The film features Ramki, Napoleon, Kushboo and Mohini in lead roles. The film, produced by Meena Panju Arunachalam, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 16 December 1994. The film is a remake of Engamma Sapatham (1974) written by the same writer and it was remade in Telugu as Mama Bagunnava (1997) with Mohini reprising her role.
Veikko Muronen was a Finnish MSc (diplomi-insinööri) and heavy vehicle designer. He worked as a manager of the Engineering Department of Vanajan Autotehdas (VAT) and later Suomen Autoteollisuus (SAT). Muronen is best known as the inventor of Vanaja lifting tandem system and designer of the last Vanaja series, "Muros-Vanaja".
Vanajan Autotehdas Oy (VAT) was a producer of heavy vehicles based in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The company was founded as Yhteissisu Oy in 1943 by the Finnish government and a number of major Finnish companies with the aim of producing lorries and buses for the Finnish Defence Forces. World War II was over before the company could start series production; it was renamed Vanajan Autotehdas and the marque became Vanaja. Subsequently, the production consisted of outdated lorry models, partly built from military surplus materials. After overcoming initial difficulties, the company modernised its products, became profitable and grew until the mid-1950s. Many major components, including engines, were imported. Diesel engines became widely available in 1955, and in 1959 VAT introduced its most significant innovation, the full load lifting tandem axle mechanism, which improved off-road capability significantly; the system is now used in Sisu vehicles.

Sisu S-21 is a lorry first produced by the Finnish heavy vehicle producer Suomen Autoteollisuus (SAT), then under names Sisu S-22 and S-22K by Yhteissisu, which, after changing its name Vanajan Autotehdas (VAT), produced it with name Vanaja V-48. The production period was 1943–1955.
Vanaja VAKS, later called Vanaja AS-33 is a two-axle, 4×2-driven military lorry produced by the Finnish heavy vehicle producer Vanajan Autotehdas (VAT) in 1960–1963. The biggest customer was Finnish Defence Forces.

Hämeen Härkätie is an ancient road in Finland, connecting Turku in Finland Proper to Hämeenlinna in Tavastia Proper. The 162 kilometers long road has been in use at the latest in the 9th century and in many parts it has been in use since. Today, Finnish national road 10 fulfills the same purpose as the connection between Turku and Hämeenlinna, but it follows the original route only near Turku.
