They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and have released six studio albums. Their first four albums are considered to be deathcore, but their fifth album, Matriarch, is considered to be metalcore. They have also been associated with djent.
Focus is the debut album by Cynic, released September 14, 1993 through Roadrunner Records. A remastered version of the album was released in 2004.

Formed in 2006, the band was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Before Today, which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Other members of the band include Jaime Preciado (bass) and Tony Perry. Pierce the Veil has released three studio albums and has toured worldwide since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. The band released their second full-length studio album, titled Selfish Machines in 2010. It is the first record by the band to feature bassist Danny Hauser and the last with vocalist Brandon Butler.

Entheos is an American progressive metal super-group formed in 2015 by ex-members of Animosity. It is known as the reincarnation of the previous band mentioned, including that some of the members were part of well known groups such as Animals as Leaders, The Faceless, Continuum, Conflux and Son Of Aurelius. They released their debut EP, Primal, in March 2015, which is considered by fans as what could have been Veil of Maya if Chaney Crabb were selected to be the vocalist in that band in a contest in 2014; and their debut album, The Infinite Nothing, in April 2016. The band announced their return to the studio in March 2017, and released their most recent album, Dark Future, in November of the same year.
