The Veils are a London-based indie/alternative band fronted by lead singer and songwriter Finn Andrews. Head of Rough Trade Records Geoff Travis has referred to Finn as "a young but maturing real artist in the vein of Nick Cave and David Bowie".
The Summer Slaughter Tour is an annual heavy metal music tour held every year since 2007. It originated in North America in 2007 and has toured in Canada in 2008, Europe in 2008, and Australia and New Zealand in 2009. Billed as "The Most Extreme Tour of the Year", Summer Slaughter has earned a reputation as being one of the few summer tours to cater exclusively to fans of extreme forms of metal music. Starting in 2012, Summer Slaughter began to add more progressive metal bands to their lineups, seeing Between the Buried and Me co-headline with Cannibal Corpse. Periphery also played Summer Slaughter 2012, and came back during Summer Slaughter 2013, along with progressive metal bands Animals as Leaders and The Ocean. The focus on progressive metal that year was controversial and many people were "into" heavy metal music, and death metal focused lineups returned in 2014, seeing Morbid Angel headline.
Pierce the Veil is an American rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2006, the band was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Before Today, which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Other members of the band include Jaime Preciado (bass) and Tony Perry. Pierce the Veil has released three studio albums and has toured worldwide since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. The band released their second full-length studio album, titled Selfish Machines in 2010. Their third album, Collide with the Sky, was released in 2012, and is their first album under the Fearless Records label. Featuring the hit first single "King for a Day", the album debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200. Their fourth and latest album, Misadventures, was released on May 13, 2016.
Born of Osiris is an American progressive metalcore band formed in 2003 in Palatine, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Ronnie Canizaro, guitarist Lee McKinney, bassist Nick Rossi, drummer Cameron Losch, and keyboardist/vocalist Joe Buras. Born of Osiris has played at various festivals including the Summer Slaughter Tour and the Music as a Weapon Tour 4.
Sumerian Records is an American independent record label based in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. The label was founded in 2006 by Ash Avildsen. Fellsilent became the first non-US band to be signed to the label, in 2008. Sumerian's roster includes a number of progressive metal bands, notably in the djent subgenre.
The Common Man's Collapse is Veil of Maya's second album. The album was produced by Michael Keene of The Faceless and was released through Sumerian Records on April 1, 2008.
All Things Set Aside is Veil of Maya's debut studio album. It was self-produced and released on November 7, 2006 through Corrosive Recordings. The album is currently out of print and is no longer sold. It is the only album to feature original vocalist Adam Clemans and guitarist Bryan Ruppell.

They worked with producer Michael Keene of death metal band The Faceless on this album. Keene previously worked with the band, producing their previous album The Common Man's Collapse. It is the band's only album to feature bassist Matthew C. Pantelis.
Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is currently composed of Andy Biersack, Ashley Purdy, Jake Pitts, Jinxx and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides are known for their use of black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which were all inspired by the stage personas of KISS and Mötley Crüe, as well as other 1980s glam metal acts.
Andrew Dennis Biersack, formerly known as Andy Six, is an American singer and pianist. He is the founder and lead vocalist for the American rock band Black Veil Brides, and is its only remaining original member. In May 2014, he started a solo music project under the moniker Andy Black and released his debut album, The Shadow Side, in 2016.

Eclipse is the fourth studio album by American deathcore band Veil of Maya. It was released on February 28, 2012 and is the band's shortest album to date, clocking in at only 28 minutes. Eclipse was co-written and produced by Misha "Bulb" Mansoor, who is the guitarist of the Maryland-based metal band Periphery. It is the first record by the band to feature bassist Danny Hauser and the last with vocalist Brandon Butler.

Erra is an American progressive metalcore band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 2009. The band was named after the homonymous Akkadian god of war and plague. The band has released four EPs and studio albums to date. Their latest album, titled Neon, was released on August 10, 2018. They have toured with bands such as August Burns Red, TesseracT, Born of Osiris, Glass Cloud, Within the Ruins and Texas in July.
Matriarch is the fifth studio album by Veil of Maya. It is the band's first album with vocalist Lukas Magyar. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Taylor Larson of From First to Last.
Entheos is an American progressive metal super-group formed in 2015 by ex-members of Animosity. It is known as the reincarnation of the previous band mentioned, including that some of the members were part of well known groups such as Animals as Leaders, The Faceless, Continuum, Conflux and Son Of Aurelius. They released their debut EP, Primal, in March 2015, which is considered by fans as what could have been Veil of Maya if Chaney Crabb were selected to be the vocalist in that band in a contest in 2014; and their debut album, The Infinite Nothing, in April 2016. The band announced their return to the studio in March 2017, and released their most recent album, Dark Future, in November of the same year.
Artificial Selection is the eighth studio album by American rock band Dance Gavin Dance, released on June 8, 2018, on Rise Records. It is the follow-up to the band's seventh studio album, Mothership (2016) and is their third consecutive studio release with the same line-up. The album was produced by Kris Crummett, Erik Ron, and Dryw Owens, and was self-produced by Dance Gavin Dance, making it the first release by the band to feature more than one producer.
