Kierszenbaum also releases music under his own name and under his nickname Cherry Cherry Boom Boom.
A Hawk and a Hacksaw is an American folk duo from Albuquerque, New Mexico, currently signed to L.M. Duplication. The band consists of accordionist Jeremy Barnes, who was previously the drummer for Neutral Milk Hotel and Bablicon, and violinist Heather Trost. The music is inspired by Eastern European, Turkish and Balkan traditions, and is mostly instrumental. They have released six albums and have toured internationally. The first four albums and an EP were released on The Leaf Label and afterwards on their own label L. M. Duplication.

He is the former manager of Creed, Paramore, Alter Bridge and Sevendust, and the company JHMP currently manages Veio, Lotus Crush, The Winter and producers Peter Klett (Candlebox) and Malcolm Springer. In 2006 he set up the independent Orlando, Florida-based label Silent Majority Group, which has released albums from Framing Hanley, Candlebox, Tantric, Brother Sundance, Blacklite District and Veio.
TNA Knockout Music LLC was an American record label operated by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), primarily as a platform to release the entrance themes of the promotion's wrestling personalities. It was formed in September 2006, roughly four years following the formation of the TNA promotion in May 2002. Following a restructuring period, TNA Knockout Music legally ceased trading in August 2016, and the promotion would instead release its music independently through distributor TuneCore.

In 2012, as Chet Faker, he issued an extended play, Thinking in Textures, and signed to Downtown Records in the United States. In October 2012, he won Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Thinking in Textures won Best Independent Single/EP at the Australian Independent Records Awards. In January 2013, the work won Best Independent Release at the Rolling Stone Australia Awards for 2012.
