Venevision Plus was a cable television channel within the Grupo Cisneros, controlled by tycoon Gustavo Cisneros, which holds 100% stake in the channel. Venevision Plus is based in Miami and from December 1, 2007, its signal is transmitted in Venezuela, while in 2008 it came to Chile, Mexico and Argentina. In August 2010 it launched Venevision Plus Dominicana, designed for the Dominican Republic audience.

Venevisión is a Venezuelan free-to-air television channel and one of Venezuela's largest television networks, owned by the Cisneros Media division of Grupo Cisneros. It was founded in 1961 by Diego Cisneros. It is one of the major telenovela producers in the world, along with Televisa, TV Azteca, Telemundo, TV Globo, Caracol Televisión, RCN Televisión, ABS-CBN, GMA Network and Channel 3.
Daniel Enrique Sarcos Cabrera is a Venezuelan actor, stand-up comedian, and television personality best known as the host of Súper Sábado Sensacional from 1997–2009, and the Miss Venezuela pageant from 2004–2009. Both of these shows were broadcast on the Venezuelan television channel, Venevisión. From 2011-2018 he also hosted the morning program Un Nuevo Día on the Telemundo Television network.
Televen is a private Venezuelan national television network headquartered on the Caracas neighborhood of Horizonte. For this reason it is also called 'Canal de Horizonte'. Televen was inaugurated on July 10, 1988, by Omar Camero Zamora and T Radioven, S.A. As an alternative for the two-leading-private television channels, Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) and Venevision, Televen distanced itself from this trend and made a different oriented programming in some cases the middle classes who do not usually watch TV and it was open and being composed of talk shows, sports, movies, a full range of series, mainly American, and Brazilian, Colombian, Mexican, and U.S. Hispanic telenovelas, and in the 1990s, anime.
Súper Sábado Sensacional is a Spanish-language variety show created in Venezuela, and established on Radio Caracas Television in 1968. The show later moved to Venevisión network in 1970. Shown on a weekly basis, every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm it is viewed internationally throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States and it is considered one of the highest rated television shows in the country. Throughout its run, there have been five major hosts: Amador Bendayán (1972–1988), Gilberto Correa (1988–1996), Daniel Sarcos (1997–2009), Leonardo Villalobos (2010–2016) and Henrys Silva (2016–present).
VePlus is a subscription channel owned by Cisneros Media and serves as an updated version of their previous channel, Venevisión Continental. It was also known as Novelísima, Ve Plus TV and V Mas TV, a subsidiary of Grupo Cisneros. VePlus incorporates much of the programming from Venevisión Continental and Novelísima, while also producing its own content in Venezuela and Miami.

Acorralada (Trapped) is an American telenovela produced by Venevisión. Univision aired Acorralada from January 15, 2007 to October 5, 2007 on weekday afternoons at 2pm/1c. It was rebroadcast in late 2011 through April 2012 on Univision's sister network, Telefutura. It was filmed in Miami, Florida (USA), and lasted about 187 episodes. It is the second long-running telenovela that Venevisión Productions has produced without its former co-producer Fonovideo. Acorralada is the theme and another notable song "Eres Tu" written by Angel Arce and Jossel Calveiro. It stars as Alejandra Lazcano, Mariana Torres, Sonya Smith, David Zepeda, William Levy, and Bernie Paz as the main protagonists, while Jorge Luis Pila, Maritza Rodríguez, Frances Ondiviela, Orlando Fundichely, Alicia Plaza, Virna Flores, Grettel Trujillo, Diana Osorio, Valentina Bove, Yul Bürkle, Julián Gil and Juan Vidal are the main villains/ antagonists of the story.
TeleVisa, officially known as the Televisión Independiente, S.A. became the first privately owned television station to begin operations in Venezuela. It was the second television station to begin operations after the state-owned Televisora Nacional. In 1960, Televisa was purchased by Diego Cisneros and re-branded as Venevisión and became in business' Cisneros family.
