Venevisión Plus

Venevision Plus was a cable television channel within the Grupo Cisneros, controlled by tycoon Gustavo Cisneros, which holds 100% stake channel. Venevision Plus is based in Miami and from December 1, 2007, its signal is transmitted in Venezuela, while in 2008 came to Chile, Mexico and Argentina. In August 2010 it was launched Venevision Plus Dominicana, which its design for the Dominican Republic audience.

Venevisión Venezuelan private television channel founded in 1961

Venevisión is a Venezuelan free-to-air television channel and one of Venezuela's largest television networks, owned by Grupo Cisneros.

Daniel Sarcos is a Venezuelan actor, stand-up comedian, and television personality best known as the host of Súper Sábado Sensacional from 1997–2009 and the Miss Venezuela pageant from 2004–2009. Both of these shows are seen on the Venezuelan television channel, Venevisión. He has also hosted the morning program Un Nuevo Día on the Telemundo network.

Televen Venezuelan television network

Televen is a private Venezuelan national television network headquartered on the Caracas neighborhood of Horizonte. For this reason it is also called 'Canal de Horizonte'. Televen was inaugurated as the TELEVEN Corporation on July 10, 1988 by Omar Camero Zamora and T Radioven, S.A. As an alternative for the two-leading-private TV Networks on Venezuela, Radio Caracas Televisión (RCTV) and Venevision, Televen distanced itself from this trend and made a different oriented programming in some cases the middle classes who do not usually watch TV and it was open and being composed of talk shows, sports, movies, a full range of series, mainly American, and Brazilian, Colombian, Mexican, and U.S. Hispanic telenovelas, and in the 1990s, anime.

<i>Súper Sábado Sensacional</i>

Súper Sábado Sensacional is a Spanish-language variety show created in Venezuela, and established on Radio Caracas Television in 1968. The show later moved to Venevisión network in 1971. Shown on a weekly basis, every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm it is viewed internationally throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States and it is considered one of the highest rated television shows in the country. Throughout its run, there have been five major hosts: Amador Bendayán (1972–1988), Gilberto Correa (1988–1996), Daniel Sarcos (1997–2009), Leonardo Villalobos (2010–2016) and Henrys Silva (2016–present).

Ve Plus TV

VePlus is the new name of the subscription channel of Cineros Media. Previously known in some areas as Venevision Continental, Novelisima VePlus TV, V Mas TV, VePlus has retained much of the programming of Venevision Continental, Novelisima, and produces its own content in Venezuela and Miami.

Mi vida eres tú is a 2006 telenovela developed by Verónica Suárez and produced by Cisneros Media Distribution in Miami, Florida.

<i>Acorralada</i>

Acorralada (Trapped) is an American telenovela produced by Venevisión. Univision aired Acorralada from January 15, 2007 to October 5, 2007 on weekday afternoons at 2pm/1c. It was rebroadcast in late 2011 through April 2012 on Univision's sister network, Telefutura. It was filmed in Miami, Florida (USA), and lasted about 187 episodes. It is the second long-running telenovela that Venevisión Productions has produced without its former co-producer Fonovideo. Acorralada is the theme and another notable song "Eres Tu" written by Angel Arce and Jossel Calveiro. It stars as Alejandra Lazcano, Mariana Torres, Sonya Smith, David Zepeda, William Levy, and Bernie Paz as the main protagonists, while Jorge Luis Pila, Maritza Rodríguez, Frances Ondiviela, Orlando Fundichely, Alicia Plaza, Virna Flores, Grettel Trujillo, Mariana Huerdo, Diana Osorio, Valentina Bove, Yul Bürkle, Julián Gil, Juan Vidal, Sandra García, Héctor Soberón, and Claudia Reyes are the main villains/antagonists of the story.

TeleVisa, officially known as the Televisión Independiente, S.A. became the first privately owned television station to begin operations in Venezuela. It was the second television station to begin operations after the state-owned Televisora Nacional. In 1960, Televisa was purchased by Diego Cisneros and re-branded as Venevisión and became in business' Cisneros family.

Somos tú y yo, known as Somos tú y yo: Un nuevo día for its final season, is a Venezuelan telenovela filmed in Caracas, Venezuela and developed by Boomerang Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and production company Cisneros Media, the series starred Sheryl Rubio together with Víctor Drija. An adaptation of the 1978 film Grease, which is based on the musical of the same name by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, it debuted in its country of origin, Latin America and Italy on June 27, 2007.

Gilberto Correa Venezuelan television personality

Gilberto Emiro Correa Romero is a Venezuelan television personality known for hosting De Fiesta Con Venevision from 1969–1983 and Súper Sábado Sensacional from 1988-1996. Correa is also best known for his deep voice on Venevision's commercial bumpers and promos during the 1980s and 1990s.

Víctor Antonio Drija Vivas is a Venezuelan actor, singer and dancer, best known for portraying Victor on the Boomerang Latin America series Somos tú y yo.
