Victor Godoi (born March 31, 1975) is a retired Argentine boxer.

Professional career

He made his professional debut on October 13, 1995, in his debut he knocked Pedro Echiguay in the first round. By the end of 1997 he had amassed a record of 24-1. He defeated, among others, former world title contenders, Victor Fuentealba and Alli Galvez. On November 7, 1998, he earned the chance to fight for the interim WBO super flyweight title, his rival was Mexican Pedro Morquecho whom Godoi beat via a split decision. After Johnny Tapia moved up to bantamweight Godoi became the full champion. Godoi lost the title in his first defense of the title against Diego Morales in what would be his only fight outside Argentina. After losing the title, he fought five more times going 2-3, he ended his career in 2005 when he lost to Jose Saez.

José "Cheíto" Ruíz Matos was a Puerto Rican boxer. Born and raised in the municipality of Trujillo Alto, he was signed as a professional when he was 17 years old. Ruíz made his debut July 13, 1984, competing in the super flyweight division. He gathered a record of 9-2 during the first three years of his career, which featured a trilogy against eventual contender, Pedro Jose Feliciano. Seeking to improve his standing in the world rankings, Ruíz challenged and defeated former World Boxing Council and Colombian champion, Prudencio Cardona and Chilean titlist Bernardo Manuel Mendoza. On April 29, 1989, he received his first opportunity for a world championship, defeating Sugar "Baby" Rojas for the title of the newly created World Boxing Organization. Ruíz had four successful defenses, defeating Juan Carazo, Ángel Rosario, Wilfredo Vargas and Armando Velasco. On February 22, 1992, Ruíz lost the title to José Quirino by unanimous decision. Five months later, he participated in the last fight of his career, losing a close majority decision to the International Boxing Federation's champion, Robert Quiroga. On February 28, 1992, Ruíz was ambushed and shot while traveling through one of San Juan's barrios, receiving six bullet wounds that fatally injured him.

Juan Francisco Estrada Mexican boxer

Juan Francisco Estrada Romero is a Mexican professional boxer. He is a two-weight world champion, having held The Ring super flyweight title since 2019 and the WBA (Super) title since March 2021. He previously held the WBA (Unified) and WBO flyweight titles between 2012 and 2015, and the WBC super flyweight title in March 2021. He also challenged once for the WBA light flyweight title in 2012. As of January 2021, Estrada is ranked as the world's ninth best active boxer, pound for pound, by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB), seventh by The Ring, and tenth by Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). He is also ranked as the world's best active super flyweight by The Ring and the TBRB and BoxRec.
