Victor Rosellini (1915–2003) was a Seattle restaurateur, and president of the National Restaurant Association and the Restaurant Association of the State of Washington.

The National Restaurant Association is a restaurant industry business association in the United States, representing more than 380,000 restaurant locations. It also operates the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. The association was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Washington, DC.

Victor Rosellini was born in Tacoma in 1915, the son of Italian immigrant parents. [1]

In 1936, Rosellini went to San Francisco to run "front of house" at his brother-in-law Agostino Giuntoli's Bimbo's 365 Club, a large and glamorous nightclub. [2]

Agostino "Bimbo" Giuntoli was an Italian-born American nightclub owner and entrepreneur.

Bimbos 365 Club

Bimbo's 365 Club, also known as Bimbo's 365, is an entertainment club located at 1025 Columbus Avenue in San Francisco. It specializes in live rock and jazz shows. The location is one of San Francisco's oldest nightclub sites, and has operated under two names with a series of owners. The building started as Bal Tabarin in 1931, the same year that the 365 Club started at 365 Market Street. The two locations under separate ownership consolidated in 1951 to one location owned by Agostino "Bimbo" Giuntoli.

In 1950, he opened Rosellini's 610, followed in 1956 by Rosellini's Four-10, both in Seattle. [2]

Rosellini was president of the National Restaurant Association and the Restaurant Association of the State of Washington. [1]

His first cousin, Albert Rosellini, was Governor of Washington from 1957 until 1965.

Ashok Bajaj is a restaurateur based in Washington, DC. He is head of the Knightsbridge Restaurant Group. Bajaj was born in New Delhi. He left India in his early twenties, working in Sydney and in London, where he managed the Bombay Brasserie before moving the United States in 1988. He opened the Bombay Club, his first restaurant in Washington, in 1989 in his 20s, in initially working with an Australian partner, Nelson Blanks, though the two parted ways after a year and a half. His restaurant group has since expanded and now includes Rasika, for which chef Vikram Sunderam won a 2014 James Beard Award. Sunderam and Bajaj met in London working together at the Bombay Brasserie. With Sunderam and chef and cookbook author David Hagedorn, Bajaj is co-author of the cookbook, Rasika: Flavors of India, published by the Ecco imprint of HarperCollins.
