Lauvsnes Village in Central Norway, Norway

Lauvsnes is the administrative centre of the municipality of Flatanger in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the shore, about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) northeast of the village of Vik. Lauvsnes has some small industry as well as fish farming. The island of Løvøya lies just north of the village.

Folda, Trøndelag fjord in Trøndelag, Norway

Folda or Folla is a firth and a fjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located within the municipalities of Flatanger, Namsos, Fosnes, and Nærøy. The large wide firth is about 50 kilometres (31 mi) long which then narrows into a fjord which is about 75 kilometres (47 mi) long. The narrower fjord part of Folda is often called the Foldfjorden or Innerfolda. Most of the fjord is very narrow, some places with steep cliffs. It has the largest length to width factor among Norway's fjords. The fjord is crossed by the Norwegian County Road 17 road using the Folda Bridge at the village of Foldereid. Spruce forests cover most areas around the fjord. The outer-Folda area is notorious for its rough seas, and has been called an "ocean graveyard".

The Namsenfjorden or Namsfjorden is a fjord in Trøndelag county, Norway. The 35-kilometre (22 mi) long fjord flows along the border between the municipalities of Namsos, Namdalseid, and Flatanger. It runs southeast from the Folda firth, between the mainland in the south and the island of Otterøya in the north, past the island of Hoddøya, to the Namsen river estuary in the town of Namsos. The banks of the fjord are mostly wooded and not very high. Near the town of Namsos, the Løgnin fjord arm branches to the south all the way to the village of Sjøåsen in Namdalseid. Other villages along the fjord include Statland, Tøttdalen, Skomsvoll, Bangsund, and Spillum.

Statland Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Namdalseid municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Statland. It is the church for the Statland parish which is part of the Nord-Innherad prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1992 by the architect Reidar Moholdt. The church seats about 140 people. The church was consecrated on 10 May 1992 by Bishop Finn Wagle.

Lauvøya is an island in the municipality of Flatanger in Trøndelag county, Norway. The island sits just off the mainland coast, across from the village of Lauvsnes. The main church for northern Flatanger, Løvøy Church, is located on the island. The 2.6-square-kilometre (640-acre) island has been connected to the mainland by a bridge since 1990. The island has several homes on it and has become an important recreational area for the municipality.

Jøssund is a village in the municipality of Flatanger in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is situated at the end of the Jøssundfjord, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of the village of Seter in neighboring Osen municipality and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of the municipal center, Lauvsnes. The population has been declining steadily since World War II, but there is still a shop and cafe in the village.
